Rexlar Brath, Predator, TIE/D title, Ion Cannon, TIE mk2 Engine
3x Glaive - Crack shot - TIE X7 seems to be what's good.

Triple glaives with crack shot and x-7 titles is my most successful list.
Triple deltas all with TIE/D and ion cannon is also pretty strong, although it can struggle against crack swarm and torpedo scouts.
There's also DVD:
Delta w/ x-7 = 28
Delta w/ TIE/D + ion cannon = 33
Vessery w/ TIE/D, tractor beam & ruthlessness (or outmanoeuvre) = 39

This is a tricky list since you have to set up target locks for Vessery and it takes some practice to get the approach just right, but it can be rewarding when you fly it right.
You can also do variations on this list with slightly different pilots.
But that's a good start in the triple defender dept.
Havent tried it yet, but heard its tough. 3 x7 Deltas and Backstabber. Four ships, even better ![]()
as @blade says crackshot is the ept u want, if u get R1 some enemy ship will die.
I like Ryad + Glaive + Vessery, all with crackshot.

Delta with Tie/D and Ion Cannon
Delta with Tie/D and Tractor Beam.
Keep the Deltas together to hopefully deliver four attacks (two primary and two Cannon) at the same target. Use Ryad as a fast moving flanker to get around the enemy and pepper them with shots. Ryad is incredibly survivable in the late game with her x7 Evade Token and ability to k-turn at will (green 5ks!)
Mike Dennis from 186th had a really cool squadron that (I think) he went to semis in UK Nationals with.
It was something like:

36 Vessery w/ Outmanoeuvre, X7.
36 Ryad w/ PTL, Mk2, X7.
28 Delta w/ X7.
I'm kinda liking outmanoeuvre to hurt Dengaroo and frustrate aces, though Juke is probably more reliable. I generally flank Vessery (not too much) and run the Delta and Ryad together.

Yeah, I think I like Outmaneuver there, too. I'm not sure there's a wrong choice, though.

Glaive: x7, Adaptability
Vessery: x7, Adaptability
Maarek: x7, Juke
All at PS7 and Juke works nicely as the last shot from your squadron. You can target lock with the Glaive to help out Vessery since most people will focus on one of the 2 named pilots first.

Not a bad idea. I see a lot of people trying out defenders and they keep them too close together. When they lose, they blame something other than their own flying choices. But I see defenders win more often when the controlling player is not afraid to split his ships up and keep their dials as open as possible.

Instead of three TIE Defenders, I prefer two of them and the Inquisitor. The Inquisitor makes an excellent flanker. He is great with, and against, Auto(include)thrusters. If you want, you can replace Maarek Stele with Rexler Brath. That takes the list up to 100 points, but gives you a PS10 Defender.
