There are several Scum pilots in the game that originate from the Clone Wars era: Asajj Ventress, Lats Razzi, Moralo Eval. And we just got a prequel ship in the ARC-170.

I'm glad they added tfa ships because it makes it harder to omit prequel ships because of era differences.

I agree, new movies and shows Do bring new fans, and not the point I'm trying to make. The Prequels should Have their Separate own Game, As the Originals (Which is X-Wing), as should TFA. That's my point. hence the Title.

I just see these movies as Star Wars and have fun with them, you can't say Jar Jar was better than TFA. Totally agree with you on the Shuttle though, can't wait to strike fear into the hearts of my enemies with Tie SF's and Ren's Batmobile bearing down on them.

Plus, if they made TFA a separate game, there isn't much material anyway, let alone the fact that people will complain either way, damned if you do, damned if you don't . I see your point, but nothing to be done anymore.

Peoples' views on movies are subjective. Some people liked TFA, some didn't. Just like every other Star Wars movie, and every other movie in general.

I don't totally disagree with the OP, but my issue isn't that it should have been a different game, but that it should have introduced 2 new factions, First Order and Resistance. As an Empire player, I'm kinda sick of the last few waves just being First Order stuff instead of real Empire stuff. It's ok, but I'd prefer stuff from the EU over all First Order ships for Empire. The Gunboat, Scimitar, Avenger, etc. Maybe we will get the new Tie and Shuttle from Rogue One. That would be great!

While I agree TFA was not good that is not a reason to not have them in the game. IMHO the EU is better, most likely will always be better because it has better characters and many of these have already been included within the game. While Kylo Ren may be a whiny little ***** I will express this by simply not playing him. My big hope is that he is just irrelevant to the game as a whole.

Note for people: Even if you don't like the story the ship is from, you might still enjoy the ship.

I primarily remember the IG-2000 from "Therefore I Am: The Tale of IG-88", which is one of the most hilariously awful Star Wars stories ever written (There's a memorable scene where IG-88 pranks the Emperor with a door). But that doesn't stop the Aggressor from being a cool ship.

Similarly, I'm not a fan of Shadows of the Empire, but the Starviper has won me over with its sexy appearance.

I do find it funny that people imagine it's so easy to just apparate a new and distinct game out of nothingness' bum hole for three separate eras, especially relative to just continuing on the one awesome game system we already have

there's no point other than needless complication for some petty OCD need to want to differentiate the Star Wars time periods in a game where the ghost of Biggs Darklighter can fly alongside the freaking E-wing

and this is why gameplay is always and irrevocably many times more important than fluff

Right now no. I mean it is good that they are starting to get more models for the TFA factions and I predict that eventually there will be a split making the game have 5 separate playable factions instead of 3 but as for now too soon for the TFA products.

TFA is better than EU. But it is limited by fewer ships and view points.

I just hope they avoid actual prequel era events. Grab thoes ships but in the original era, like they did with the Arc. I just am not sure they can release the ship Ani flew in ep1 and not include him as a pilot.

Edit: the starviper is amazing, hope it makes it into a movie.
