You got to trust me a bit more, go see if Vyrr needs you over by the generator I heard a small thud over there last time we hit something." As he finishes his sentence the ship takes a hard left followed with Kor's head meeting the engine. Groaning in pain "I'm sure I have a concussion with that hit. Ok ok Tess come with me we're gonna repair what we can over here in the engine room, Soryn go find Vyrr he will tell you what to do."

Looking at the engine's read outs he knows what to do and begins to work.

I doubt I'll be able to convince the separatists to stop sending fighters and missiles with droids attached however." she helps go through the system readouts and helps isolate the key damage. "Uhh... Vyrr, I'm coming to you. Also there appears to be... Something... Outside the ship. Something organic with wings. I can't identify what exactly they are, but they don't look like a threat to us. They're only small things."

As he finishes the repairs Kor looks up at Tess "Your right we've been acting through our emotions, we should talk later." Kor stands and goes to contact the bridge but he notices that the commuications array is down, "Tess how long have not had Coms?" Kor picks up the tool box and turns to Tess with a confident look,"I wouldn't mind if you'd join me, I need to know if the coms are broken and if they are maybe I can fix em."

'Got it', Vyrr answered to Soryn, 'I am trying to replace the power cords that supply the primary engines at the moment'.

"I think they have been out one or two skims of the canyon walls if the comms dish is gone then we have no comms at range I'm unsure how much that affected internal comms." she grabbed a piece of cloth from the tool box before Kor picks it up and tries to clean the grease from her head and hands. "I would be happy help you with the repairs just as long as I can stay away from crawl spaces."

"Considering what's been happening to the ship... I think we'd have a better chance fighting back." Dera inclines her head. "But this is your ship, Captain, and I defer to your expertise. We'll make the landing at the planned location, then." She squints at the dragonoids, and tries to think back as to whether she's heard about these things somewhere before.

Nimara sheathed his lightsaber as soon as the flock of beasts shook the droids off the hull. While it wasn't pleasant to be hounded by a swarm of these creatures, it might prove to be another opportunity.

"I... I have an idea how to make sure these creatures don't attack us," said Nimara, speaking into his commlink and to Dera and the captain. "It'll take a bit, but..."

Nimara trailed off, extended his left hand forward, and closed his eyes. Just as Master Sinube had taught him, he reached out with the Force, trying to connect with the strange, draconic creatures.

Dera looks back away from the bridge's window, and goes for the internal comms. "The Empire used creatures like this, a long time ago," she says, over the comm. "These might be the unaltered beasts—or the descendants of remnants. Be careful using the Force to affect them."

Tessrah turns to Kor "this planet gets stranger and stranger." she hands him another tool. "since internal comms are working should we work on something more critical.?"

"Any bit of damage to the hull could leave us compromised so we have to check at least, go on ahead Tess I'll let Dera know we are on the way there." Before leaving the engine room Kor responds on Internal Coms "Dera I noticed here on the power readout that the coms are offline, you didn't happen to hit it with the canyon did you? Anyways Tess and I are on our way up to check it out anyway."

Catching up to Tess he notices the beasts Dera mentioned out a starboard viewport "Hey Tess wouldn't it be cool to ride one of those things? Who knows might be better than being on this Ship" Kor lets out a chuckle.

Tessrah gave a smile. "I think I would agree I read on my planet that my people ride agile cats like nexu but have smaller jaws and horns similar to mine. Course I have never been to my home planet..." she trails off a bit.

Dera sighs at the comm. "Don't blame me, Kor," she says. "I wasn't piloting." Assisting, yes, but all the mental coordination in the galaxy can't make up for an idea that bad.

"I was born on Cerea but I was too young to know how life was there. I haven't been back in all my years training I do wish to go back someday. Maybe we will get to see our homeworlds someday." Kor says with a Smile.

Shad runs a check on the ship's system to find what needs to be most urgently repaired. ((should i roll or i find out easily?))

She blinked at Kor. "we?... Dunno I've asked permission to visit it's never been approved. Don't see how that would change anytime soon the order keeps us... Controlled."

"Well as Jedi Knights we will have more liberties to pursue things more freely. We can both visit our respective homeworlds in time." Kor is still fascinated with the flying beasts and hasn't yet noticed Tess' expression, "Do you think Nimara could take one and then let me ride it?"

"I would wonder if it's friends would wonder how well you taste, they seem to fly in flocks. Maybe if you were able to get it alone and spent a little time getting to know more about it maybe it would be more friendly." Kor feels Tessrahs hip bounce of his leg "sorry I'm thinking about something."

Dera hits the comm button again. "Please tell me you two are on your way to the bridge and not the roof," she says, concerned by how long it's taking them to arrive.

"We will be there shortly I got distracted by the dragons outside." With an eyebrow raised and a grin Kor turns to Tess "What exactly were you thinking about?"

Shad gazes outside the viewport, beyond the pilot's consoles, at the flying beasts and concentrates trying to remember any information he might know about them.

"I think that you already know about what." she stroked a lekku for a moment. "come let's just try to act like we are good padawans who never think about such things." They both entered the bridge Tessrah took a seat at a free station and waited patiently if it wasn't for the restless bouncing of a knee.
