Looking forward to this ... especially for the additional scenarios ...
Just wish they would have provided even an estimated time frame.

Edited by any2cardsI just wish they would have added a scenario from Forbidden Alchemy. I kind of liked the time loop of Lost in Time and Space and Yellow Matter.
$50 for the set containing forbidden alchemy and call of the wild, so technically $25 each. Thats good! Hopefully should reason out the ebay prices of 1st ed copies

You would like to think so, but I don't believe it will have this effect ... after all, the game will not come with all of the cards, tokens, etc. There will still be a reason for people to gouge on e-bay.
I was fortunate to be able to pick of CotW at list price about 3 months ago from an on-line store (not e-bay). I have yet to see a price for FA to be less than $200.
I somehow doubt these two new stories are going to be the only ones. They are just scenarios that will require the parts from those expansions, which probably means the puzzles will reflect them and the scenario for Suppressed Memories will have a LOT of outdoor space.
I really hope they do a ton of scenarios. At the very least, I'd like to see all the 1st ed scenarios converted over in one form or another.
I wouldn't mind some PoD card packs that would give access to each of the First edition Main/FA/CotW/PoD scenarios for second edition, whether the scenarios are sold in groups or individually. I promise I'll even pick up The Silver Tablet v2 if they'll give us the chance to purchase the other scenarios (although the Silver Tablet should require FA this time, so that the byakhee that was mentioned in it could actually be used in the game as a proper monster).

Can someone please explain the difference between the core set of the 2nd edition vs. recurring nightmares? If I get the core set do I need to get recurring nightmares? What is the value of looking to get both? I love this new idea, and have ALWAYS wanted a way to play Mansions without a DM... so this is very exciting, but confused on the core set vs. recurring nightmares. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
The 2nd edition core set is required to play no matter what. Recurring Nightmares has the investigators, monsters and tiles from the 1st edition core set, so you can add them to your 2nd edition. Suppressed Memories has the investigators, monsters and tiles from the 2 1st edition expansions (Forbidden Alchemy and Call of the Wild.) So they are basically just re-releases of the 1st edition content for those who don't already own them. Both of them are unnecessary if you already own all the 1st edition content.
I don't own the first edition MoM, but it seems unfair since buying this exp these you would get same monsters and investigators plus a scenario, but if you own first edition core edition, you will basically have the same monsters and investigators but you don't get a new scenario.

The scenario will be made available for free to owners of first edition (info given during GenCon 2016)
If you already have the 1st edition content then you'll get the new scenarios free when the expansions come out this fall. You should just be able to tell the app you have the required components and it'll let you play.

When I was looking at the Core set for the 2nd edition it looked like it came with some of the same enemies that are in the Recurring Nightmare, so that confused me. Not sure why I would buy Recurring Nightmares if the enemies are the same it just adds more tiles and scenarios... Your thoughts?
*** Update *** Never mind. I went back and looked and maybe I had mistaken the Recurring Nightmare image with the Core Set Image. Looks like there isn't an overlap. Cool. Looks like I will be getting the core set and both expansions as soon as they are in stock. :-)
