How much can the Empire share of the rules? Step by Step

By Dr Executioner, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hi,

I have a simple doubt, how much can the Empire player share in relation to the rules?

I mean, some missions I get confused on how much can I share with the Rebellion and I feel that I'm very overpowered because they do not know some mission specs and if they knew the ENTIRE gameplay would change and I guess that it would actually be more fun.

For example, can someone enlighten me on how much could I share (step by step) on the mission "Generous donations"?

Thanks in advance guys!

See the duplicate thread for answers.

Both the flavor text and the associated rules are read aloud when an event triggers, including mission briefing.

Also read through the second page of the campaign book. And read it to the rebels. There is nothing secret before page 4 of the campaign book.

You emphasize the rebel objective, but you read all of the rules text in the block. The round limit is part of the rules block, AND it has the rebel icon in it. (Only only leave out options the imperial player does not take whenever there are options.)

Thanks!

You read the whole event block with flavor text and the associated rules text of each event when that event happens.

This means that the Boarding Party event will tell the rebels everything they need to know (4th and 6th bullet points of Boarding Party event). You do not read text of any other event at that time.
