Thanks for the good wishes. Here's why I'm selling Tide of Iron, if anyone is interested. Tide of Iron is a great game and an absolute awesome game system. I have always been a sci-fi/fantasy geek, however, and I find myself playing and enjoying games in those generes much more. I love BattleLore, Descent, Doom, and Last Night on Earth by Flying Frog Productions. These take-up so much of my time, I just wasn't devoting much to Tide of Iron. Also, to keep up wiith these other games I like to play, I had to decide which to put my money towards...I couldn't put it towards all of them. So, after lots of thought, I decided I had to let Tide of Iron go. Anyway, to anyone very interested in WWII wargames, Tide of Irion and its expansions are excellent.

Before you actually let go of your ToI collection, compare the Epic Armageddon rules to the ToI basic rules. There is a remarkable convergence. The mapboards alone would be worth keeping for use with Epic Armageddon and/or other fantasy/scifi games.

Well if that don't bite! I just , last week, ordered TOI and the 2 expansions. I should have checked here first. BOO-HOO for me.

Don't feel bad as long as you didn't pay full retail. I paid about 60 for the main set and 35-40 for the expansions, which doesn't come out to much more than what that auction went for.

I paid 136.00 for the base game and the two EXP's/with free shipping.

Man, not too bad.

But hey, it finally went at $127.50 !!! Holy crap, I wish I lived in America ; that price is just amazing, it's almost the price of some game like War of the Ring, or Twil.Imp....
