Pop culture examples, of various Career Specs!

By KungFuFerret, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

So, I don't know about anyone else, but I find it useful, as a form of verbal shorthand, when describing a specialization to someone, to give examples from pop culture, to help form a concept. For example, you have a friend that just can't seem to understand how a *insert spec type here* is useful in a gaming group, and then you go "Ohoh! But what about *insert popular fictional character*? They are exactly this kind of character, and you thought they were awesome! You could totally make a build like that and totally be useful in a group!"

So what kind of mental archetypes do you generally use for characters? Especially the less traditional types, like Trader or Entrepreneur, Activist, etc.

Share them here, so maybe they can help others explore character types they might've avoided before.

Side note: Given the tendency for some of these game line forums to be more popular than others, is it considered spamming to post this in the Edge and Age forums too? Seems to me it would be fitting, as each diff thread could focus on that line if they wanted.

Well since your thread is quite general you should post it in the Edge forum, it's the one that has most visitors and views. However there isn't a big division among the forum, all or most of the Edge members also post here

Dirty Harry - Warden.

Batman also fits as Warden or Aggressor

Ironman - Armorer

Black Widow and Jason Bourne - infiltrators

Indiana Jones - Archeologist (duh!)

Maverick - Hotshot

Frank Underwood - Politico (duh!)
