Absolutely freaking amazing. The fact that it is SO heavily connected in so many ways, but especially visually, really makes it click with me. Love the TIE hovering and the ISDs, and when the Death Star eclipses the sun.
it looks good. still not a lot of story though. too much mystery for my tastes. Instead of an incredibly difficult and complicated story with lots of interesting twists.

A teaser or trailer should only give barely enough story to bring the viewer on board with continuing it. The Force Awakens advertised exactly as much story as it needed to: the continuation of the original Star Wars trilogy, 30 years later, with new characters. This is also advertising as much as it needs to and no more: Star War Movie leading directly into the Original Trilogy.
My favorite trailer for any film might be this, which is a scene that never even appears in the film but explains exactly what the film is about.

No Jedi in the film... As I understand it Dannie Yen is from the church of the force.... None force sensitive who follow the Jedi beliefs

I have waited a long time for a good SW movie...this one looks, and will be, sooo good. Cant wait.
I am getting a real kick out of all the X-wing in atmosphere scenes these movies have.
I guess the desert planet must be expendable.... when the Empire runs a "weapons test" they don't muck around....
I really feel that Rogue One could be better than Episode VII.
I'm not saying FA was a bad movie, just that it wasn't as good as a few of the first six movies.

This is going to be a straight forward bouncy framed-whip pans-jump cuts- throw the camera around generic action movie with CGI beauty shots of the first Death Star and Star Destroyers. They're not giving you a lot on the story because there isn't a lot of story. Just a lot of "moments" strung together as motivation for the action scenes. We know how the story turns out, we just don't know who lives through it.
Expect by the numbers product cinema.
