Well we don't need charges if we use the conveniently unexploded warhead lodged in the ceiling (Destiny Point) it's just so nicely placed right on top of the two new B2's how fun!

You're breaking the GM's suspension of disbelief here. Where did that conviently unexploded warhead come from? Demoteam is plausable, but is down the corridor. Droid army isnt using cventional explosives. Perhaps if you bait the tank into shooting the hole... but that means whoever is bait needs to do some fancy evasion to get clear...
Edited by RakaydosWell you did say that this is exactly where we were when he tunnels collapsed so one of the bombs didn't go off via Destiny point that's what I'm saying. This is completely possible.
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Proton_torpedo
Even Porton Torpedoes are Warheads, so if bombs blew up the canyon then bombs can have lodged themselves in firing range of the Droids.
Edited by ShlambateSo you're calling in a proton torpedo airstrike? I'm confused.
I am also confused. And filled with the urge to quote Schlock Mercenary. Especially the one about close air support and friendly fire.
Buying time for the demo team to set something up seems like a better idea than getting tanks to shoot at us, I think.
Let me explain in a few points what's going on.
1. I belive we are in the tunnels where the cave collapsed, if so then the cave was hit by an explosion that caved in. If that's where we are fighting then it's not too unlikely that one missile that hit the cave would be a dud. If we are still near the bridge as you mentioned the tank it's also not too unlikely for there to a Dud Warhead in the ground near the Droids. I'm not asking for an air strike I'm asking for a Dud, a live warhead yes but one whose mechanism failed to go off and now it's a boon to us.
2. The link was to confirm that Proton torpedoes are in fact Warheads and not just energy bolts, as is most heavier forms of ammunition in Star Wars. As you did mention that the Separatists have unconventional weaponry which I retort yes when the Republic attacks their more peculiar allies amongst the stars their weapons are unconventional, but when they are invading they use conventional weapons like the republic. This is especially true due to how early they would be in the war, they are likely using former Republic warheads. It's also shown time and time again that both sides use Warheads in the Clone Wars And Rebel TV show.
3 I never planned on using the tank to blow up the droid transport that seems like a really good way to die really fast. My plan was to use a destiny point to introduce a fact. The fact being that there is a live warhead in the ground or ceiling or what have you that would blow up some Droids after shooting said live explosive and allow us the ability to regroup.
Feel free to ask more questions.
Edited by ShlambateThe first cave in where you fought the lizards? That's 2 extreme range bands away.
Well that still doesn't mean that I can't summon a warhead lodged in the ground. If not can the Demo team for a Destiny point have a Rocketeer who brought his precious rocket launcher to blow up the rocks the transport is sitting in so if tunbles into the canyon. Or the Rocket can permanently damage the the release mechanism causing us to only have to fight 3 Droids. I need more than we are not in a location this time, so play can continue.
A destiny can have the demolition team have an unused demolition charge left over, but it's not set or armed, and you'd have to get past the demo team to reach saftey.
Or you can advance past the droids (there's no such thing as "attack of opportunity") to attack the skimmer.
Or you can make athletics checks to outrun the droids, try to reach another set of defense guns, and pull them out of their mount to face your pursuers.
Well Ion? Arctaanar? I'm not the only one here fighting the B2's what do you guys think? Should we run or fight?
GM are the charges set off by an electrical detonator, if so a blaster could set it off without arming them since they do fire plasma and plasma is electrically charged so in theory we just need the explosive to chuck and then shoot it!

Setting the charge in the right place is harder than setting it off at the right time- The demo team needs to make a Minion skill check (2 stat, skill equal to number of minions -1) to set it such that it will bring down the tunnel (average, with 2 blues, and no shoting that turn) but can set them off as an incidental with a remote.
Well ok so what do we think guys? Can we take the incoming fire from the Droids for another turn? Do we run do we spend our last destiny point?
Spend the destiny point. If we run, the B2s will start getting into the base.
Go ahead and roll ion for the bomb setup. I'm busy ATM.
Well ok we spend the Destiny point GM what's the roll exactly for the minions I'll roll it as soon as you give me a dice pool. Let's get this show back on the road.

So, with 5 demo team members left, YYGGBBPP
Ok will roll I'll post in the IC soon.
That roll—wow. See, this is what can happen when people other than me roll the dice. ![]()
Still recovering from the election. I'm just numb right now. Maybe I'll be more recovered later today, but, if you don't see me around, this is why.
You will be fine trump was a Democrat up until two years ago it's not doom and gloom.
Edited by TassedarWe'll see, but as a Californian, I'm starting to pay attention to the #Calexit movement.
