Clone Wars OOC

By Rakaydos, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Umm, mind if I ask why I got my advantages from the attack reduced? And, considering the fight is over and the blue die is useless, may I spend the corresponding advantage to recover 1 additional strain? (It doesn't matter much, but still, I don't really understand the reasoning behind the decision.)

Because I spent it (and the blue, and the crit) on ending the fight at a narratively convient time. The creature still had something like 3/4 ofit's health, and the ship was about to land, so I took advantage of your great roll to move things along.

As the others scrambled to take over the controls of the weapons and repair the ship, Nimara instead turned his attention to the sensors. While they'd need to plot a course, and the like, they'd also need someone keeping an eye on the fighters. While Pouncer sat by his side, Nimara scanned the sensor panel, looking out for any sign of the droid ships.

Rolling for Vigilance check. I'm assuming this is difficulty 2. Given that Nimara is aware that the fighters are in pursuit, it shouldn't be a high difficulty anyways. I'm not sure if I should add boost dice due to the sensor panel, so I'm omitting that for now.

Vigilance Check: 2eP+1eA+2eD 1 success, 1 Triumph

There is 4 hyena bombers and 8 Vultures at short range (outside laser range), keeping pace with the republic corvette. In addition, you detect signs that the frigates above are preparing to land, and by chance you get a sensor window straight into one of their hangars where their forces are marshaling. You would need a hard warfare check to make sence of the data yourself, but you've got it recorded to show others.

This might have been lost in the combat.

My last post was being typed while Rak's last post was being posted. Apologies—that was not in response to the skimmer operation bit.

I will revise.

Again I reiterate

We are posting too fast!!

BTW togruta don't have ears their horns are hollow with auditory nerve inside. They also are able to hear higher frequency sounds that humans/near humans can't hear.

Oh yeah it's Twilek who can have ear cones or ears. I'll fix that hold on.

Twilek females have cones males have ears.

Holy crap why so much infighting! Good role play though.

And in front of the base XO, too.

When was the last time magicbluefish posted?

week ish i think maybe 2

10:29pm est on August 20th was MagicBlueFish's last post. Page 9

So I just receved this PM:

I feel like Tessrah's subplot is taking over the game, and it just isn't being fun for me.

If I'm the only one who isn't enjoying it—that's fine. I have an idea of how [redacted] can make an exit if need be.

I haven't checked the thread since 3 am EST or so last night, mostly because I'm finding it stressful, so I apologize if I've missed a major development.

Thoughts?

I think we should poll the group then see if anyone else sees it this way. Through PM or on this thread. If we get only one person who wants to leave then they are free to choose as they please. If we have more dissenters then maybe we can tone it down a bit since Kor is a part of the subplot. But we shouldn't make any decisions without everyone's opinion on the subject.

My thoughts are kinda mixed because it's other players choice if they wish to insert themselves into it as I had made it clear I am working in character to keep it private from other players it's not me who makes comments about it in which I have to respond saying we are not doing anything carry on other character

In short it is on its basic level banter between two characters while waiting for new posts. If needed it can be banter put into pm's between tessrah and kor

I don't think the subplot is taking over the game at all. It's just Soryn who is being an ass (In character!) about it because he's angry about fighting badly. Dera is being rather reasonable about it it think, not making any scenes, The infigthing was at a bas moment and bad palce but it's understandable after the tough battle. I think this has to to dpo more with Soryn psychological development than anything else.

Let's go on and see how the story unfolds, it seems we have more important things to do right now anyway.

If all else fails Tes and Kor could be Corellian Jedi so they can flirt openly and smugly :P

Sor is an ass. Well, specifically he's an elitist who looks at any mistakes made as utter failures, especially his own. The relentless disregard of the Jedi Code/teachings is making him wild, which of course goes against the teachings, which makes him mad at himself - compounding the grumpy.

If you don't actually want other characters involved, and there's nobody right there who should logically notice, I vote for PMs.

How far along is the Clone Wars? Are the clones in phase 1 or phase 2 armor?

Fairly early. I dont know the difference between phase 1 and phase 2.

Why is it important the phase of the armor?

Well I know since Rakaydos said it was early it was phase 1. If it's phase 2 we are closer to Order 66 and the Empire.

Where we at dude/ttes?

Idk we are just waiting to meet General Kota and have been in the longest hallway ever. GM just needs to post.
