I thought Nimara had been with Soryn until Soryn went to the loading bay, because Soryn commed me and then said something not over the comm to Nimara.

Yeah it seemed so opposed to what the jedi code was about. They should have helped at geonocis and then packed up from corescant and said alright have a nice war let us know if you win.

The problem is that the Jedi thought Dooku to be the Dark Lord of the Sith so they had to oppose him. It's not every day that a war starts and its leader is your orders ancient enemy. What the Jedi didn't know was they were being led by their ancient enemy. So all in all you can't blame them when coresanct itself is strong in the Darkside and help Sidious rise to power.

True but it was the republic that was the direct cause of the war. They over taxed poor planets forcing them to seced from the republic. Fearing the republic they turned to dooku as a leader and created a army to protect their people. The war started because of taxation and the republic wouldn't budge on that.

But who was the republic? It was none other than Sidious. "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design." So there was going to be a war caused by the sith to destroy the Jedi in some way or another.

Very true but it was the jedi who strayed from the code that ultimately fell into the trap. And sidious said a lot of things like most sith they thought very highly of themselves. Always claim they were the best that there ever was and such. Had the jedi just opposed the war and stuck to the standard crime fighting they probably would have been ok.

It was the jedi's super restirctive code that led them to die if Anakin could marry openly he woups have help from the counsel who might very well also have loved ones. It's fear and Anger which lead to the Darkside not Compassion. If Ki Adi Mundi can have 6 wives one of which he was very attached to but he was still on he light side for all his life. So the Jedi code lost them the Chosen One and Sidious' overconfidence gave him back to the light.

Well in the past in old republic times jedi were allowed to marry/procreate although spouses were heavily scrutinized and would be almost kept to the same standard of jedi.
