Clone Wars OOC

By Rakaydos, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Each character can make 1 roll per turn.

Speaking of which, has everyone acted this round? it's probably time for the clones to fly the ship again.

Ok so 6 successful mechanics rolls to fry the droids right. Just so every one knows that super hard check was done with a destiny point so the total is 4/4

6 successful skill checks, yes. It's supposed to be a "running through the halls, tearing open panels and making changes" scene. The more peopemaking checks, the faster they get done. Of course, people still need to manage the NEXT crisis...

Arcantaar still hasn't gone so he gets to make a check when he's awake can I have him help us?

I think Arcantaar is still to go yet.

K 2 strain thus far as for the triumph I've learned a simpler way of plucking them off downgradeing future checks for them.

Downgrade to next, not downgrade to all. You only had 1 triumph..

Also take 4 conflict for the extra orokos die rolls that you didnt see fit to post.

You are meant to fail checks regularly. Where would star wars be if Han Solo never failed a check?

A failure will not kill you. A despair will not kill you, even one taken while having a lightsaber battle ontop of a moving starship. I will be creative about consiquences for failure, but that's the fun of the Edge of Empire system.

After Arc posts, someone roll for the clones. I'll get effects up tomorrow.

Yeah I understand just feels like we get a lot of setbacks where a dark side destiny point should be used to upgrade a difficulty where we have very few ways to boost on our own.

Gotta go to bed busy day tomorrow so I'll post in the morning.

I'll roll for clones again—though I'm not sure I got an answer on whether I can use my ability to remove setbacks?

And looks like I've gotta sleep now too. Goodnight, y'all. I'll check the thread in the morning.

I'm working through tonight so I'll be here when you folks wake up

Sorry, was asleep. May I ask what difficulty would overloading the buzz droids be?
6 mechanics checks, it seems.

I actually had in mind describing Vyrr's efforts of fixing the ship by repairing the wires.

1 red 3 purple but seems we are spreading it out somehow

I have got an impression that that would be 6 average checks.

Edit: got a triumph, among other things, on my check. May I edit my IC post later to reflect our decision on what that means when we decide?

I have not chosen the best teacher for mechanics XD

Fancy Screwdriver, like I said Kor ain't a Starship Mechanic, he makes armor you don't need a hydraulic screwdriver for that.

I wake up, and the co-pilot finally succeeds... only for the pilot to get that.

Well the advantages could have been boost to the roll but either way I'm guessing we crash and walk the rest of the way

Wait, I notice that our pilots don't have any ranks in the relevant Piloting skill. Who are they? Maybe I can be a pilot instead?

Yeah I as well found it odd they had no ranks as "pilots" even as a minion group 1 proficiency

The ship won't crash until it gets Crit too much. As long as we can keep these buzz droids from doing more damage and causing a setback I think we can get this bird down to the ground. Also if we keep her above WT it won't take auto Crits.

So, who has unspent triumphs? Any ideas how they can be used?

For reference, I have a triumph on my mechanics check.

P.S. You can't use 'your' instead of 'you are' if you prefer to adhere to non-broken English.

Sorry that I had to point that out. I also would like to bring up the 'padawons' and 'vehicals', but I know that this postscriptum is sort of inappropriate.

Good catch I'm just bad a grammar more of a math man myself.

As for the Triumph maybe we have to make one less check since well Vyrr is better than Kor at this.

Well, mathematics is my background, and my first language isn't English, although I was taught it since age 4.

I think that my triumph could be used to bolster my current location's defences against the attacking droid, assuming there are several shield 'projectors' on the ship.

Edit: well, I was sort of taught it since age 4. I mostly learnt it on my own due to the relevant family member dying early in my life.
