So has any one heard any reviews on the new ships from those who went to gen con? Or now everything has been spoiled has anyone tyred proxies of the new ships?
Any wave 9 reviews?
TIE/sf's are fun, but I make no claim that they are good. I just happened to win without losing any ships, so they're definitely worth trying again.
Pointed pancakes are monsters, and Kath Scarlet can fly straight through the battle because catching up to her is lethal.

Tail Gunner plus Outmaneuver would seem fun on her.

Works well if you're running Manaroo with her to provide TL & focus.
Most of the 'usual' podcasts have reviewed stuff as it has come out from the theoretical side - and they are usually pretty good at predicting things. As for actually playing with the new stuff I haven't seen much yet.
ARCs are the prettiest goddamn thing in the game
The aux arc is ESSENTIAL to their playstyle. Six games in, ZERO red moves. Front guns are almost ornamental
Aux arc allows tricky slow rolling while still allowing to fire. Small base makes the ship far more slippery than itd seem as it can snake around obstacles
Tailgunner seems auto include. 2 dice primary even fully modded with TL + title EVEN WITH NORRA would seem to accomplish jack **** without that -1 agility
(Irrelevant with r3-a2 Braylen because you play him to stress fools)
ARCs punchy but FRAIL (r2d2 norra slightly less so)
Need Biggs to cover slow speed on approach
If Biggs dies in one round to lucky bull, battle becomes uphill. Thane functions as secondary Biggs but doesn't last long
