Condition Card Ideas

Well I for one don't mind condition cards :)
But I was just thinking about possible fun condition card ideas and came up with one or two and was wondering if anylne else has fun condition card ideas looming around.
My personal favorite idea i came up with was this one

Title: Deadly Rivalary

Unique

2 Points

Unique Pilots Only

At the start of the game assign this ship a rival token then choose a unique enemy ship and assign it a rival token

Rivals

Ships with the rival tokens gain the pilot abilities of one another even after the enemy ship is destroyed

Edit: This card sucks real bad against completely generic lists lol but I like the thematic idea of two pilots on opposite sides who constantly are trying to one up the other and know the other so well that they can use their ability, and vice versa.

any card that makes him viable is a good idea, imo

other troll picks:

any of the Lancer pilots not using Rivalry against other Lancers

as much as I love ARCs and think the SF deserves a better reception, you're not likely to see many other aux arcs

there's also stuff like Kavil (just don't get matched against Jm5ks!) or Nera

or Kir Kanos against enemies that don't have an evade action

IG-88D only shares with other aggressors, Vipers and the S. IG-88B is risky, but who runs cannons these days apart from aggressors?

Asty only helps other T-70s and Fang Fighters, unless Fang Fighters run PTL in which case his ability is useless

oof lol a lot of problems, maybe I should make it rebel only but I almost feel like its unfair to make it rebel only, but rebel abilities tend to be less limiting exception being Asty

those aren't problems, those are synergies!

seriously, it's a great idea. A lot of the lesser utilized pilots have rather...uninspiring abilities. So what better to do than share your crap with your opponent's good stuff?

Once per turn, you may change one of your focus results to a Hit or Evade result.

When your ship is destroyed or this card is discarded, deal the "More Powerful Than You Can Imagine" condition card to a friendly ship.

More Powerful Than You Can Imagine

Once per turn, you may change one of your red dice to any other result.

Once per turn, you may change one of your green dice to any other result.

These results are not considered modifications, and cannot be modified.

Basically, the idea of this is a quasi-Palp effect. When he's still alive, he just gives you a mild effect on focus results. When he dies, the friendly ship he boosts is basically gets Palp on steroids.

Also, MUST you use deadly rivalry if you bring it? Because unintentionally having bigg's ability forced on you could suck...

This would be really cool (beat that fenn rau! Sootnir loves range 1 as much as you!), but I think the point of condition cards were to get rid of the need to create more tokens. Just apply the condition card to the enemy ship.

Also, MUST you use deadly rivalry if you bring it? Because unintentionally having bigg's ability forced on you could suck...

Well tokens still exist with conditions but that would work too, possibly even better!

And I'm going with yes as long as there is ability to use it, its why its only two points instead of 3 or 4

also because your "rival" gets a similar advantage

That Obi Wan condition seems pretty cool, but it would never happen, I like the thematic thought put into it though.

Obi-Wan dealing a condition card actually seems like a better idea than the dual card one that I've been working with.

I stll like the initial side being 'when an enemy ship causes you to receive a tractor, ion, or stress token, you may discard this card to remove that token' being the initial effect though.

I think it could be an implication that there will be ground ships, and that there will be condition cards for terrain.

ehhh 1-3 is way too massive, even just range1 would be awesome.

Then again, range 1-2 would sound fair. Isnt crippling like 1-3, but big enough to justify seismic torps JUST to shut those things up.
