Mothma's Angels

By Lyraeus, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

That is basically what I have found Lyraeus. This is the list I am toying with. Not as fighter heavy as yours, but packing some gunboat speed and firepower.

Enhanced Armaments is a trial as I have only 2 Spinals and I like to make the flank on the big ship a little more dangerous.

I am pretty sure Nav Team and Madine does not work. . .

I am pretty sure Nav Team and Madine does not work. . .

I can see nothing in reading either card that would show it doesn't. Madine's text makes for an extra yaw, as does the Nav Team, only stipulation for both cards is using a token.

Until it's FAQ'd (and I suspect it will be) it would appear to work.

The argument is, it doens't allow for extra yaw. Both Madine and Nav team allow you to use A token as Yaw...

Both let you do the same thing. They don't let you do it twice.

An Insightful person went in depth with this for me. Here is the post that person made.

Which is me, man. :D Gotta watch them quotes, dude :D

Madine says 'If it spent a navigate token...'

Nav team says 'Your navigate tokens can either change your speed or increase 1 yaw value by 1'

Reading both, nothing prevents both working.

The wording on Madine is the key here, as I spent a token. Nav Team requires me to spend the token for the effect, madine merely says if I spent the token I can use the effect.

In fact, as the cards are written, I could increase speed with the Nav Team and then increase speed again with Madine or take a speed increase and a yaw. It is a powerful combo.

I'm just clarifying the argument made, that is all...

Not starting the argument afresh :D

Its just, I guess, more of a heads up that people may take some notice and/or offense in the meantime... At least until its clarified by FFG sometime next month :) .

It was done on purpose actually :P

Nav team says 'Your navigate tokens can either change your speed or increase 1 yaw value by 1'

At this point, go argue it in the rules thread please. I like your list and think it would be a blast to play but I dont agree with the ruling. Send the question to FFG to be answered and FAQ'd

Correct they both work. You may use nav tokens for a speed change and a 1 yaw change.

I dont see where either allows you to change yaw by 2.

@ Ginkapo, you use both effects for one yaw change per effect.

Spend Nav Token, enact Nav Team for a yaw change of 1.

Use Madine, having spent the token, for a further yaw change of 1.

What I will say is you must use the Nav Team before using Madine though.

Where does either use the word additional? The key word required to stack in that way.

Fair point and a conclusion I came to as well so as to not derail this thread further :-)
