I'm using the Tie/D title and use tractor beam. My opponent uses his R5-P8 which kills me. Do I get my primary shot?

Yes, because under the new attack timing FAQ, ALL effects triggered during an attack sequence get to activate before any destroyed ships are actually removed from the game.

Thats what I thought, but wanted to clarify.
