Edit: Seriously, Tector for the Imperials to bring balance, XG-1 Starfighter squadron just to tick off the XWing players.

Tector class star destroyers, rebel and imperial light carriers, rebel and imperial heavy carriers (ventar for imperials who knows for rebels), more flotilla types, and skipray blastboats

With all of the Clone Wars era fighters making their way to X Wing, I think we may finally get some in wave 6. My guesses (hopes) are:

Imperial

Venator class Star Destroyer ($40 Large base carrier/support in purpose. DA has a great version for the armament, armor, shields, etc.)

Acclamator ($30 small base mini-Victory)

Rebellion

Commerce Guild Cruiser (Recuscant cruiser) ($40 medium base jumbo Neb B with shields being 4,2,1)

DP20 frigate ($20 small base DA had a great one!)

Wow I thought I could finish my response before any one else!

I'm looking forward to a DP 20 gunship frigate, Marauder Cruiser, Nebulon B Frigate type 2, or imperial acclamator cruiser. I could totally recreate my childhood playing Star Wars Empire at War!

A hammerhead transport or the quasar fire cruiser would also be cool. They still have some good iconic EU and rebel ships to choose from that aren't in the movies

Given that Waves 3-5 have drawn heavily from Rebels (Gozanti, Interdictor, Arquitens, Pelta, + squadrons) I'd expect Wave 6 to be more of the same.

Rebels - Hammerhead

Imperials - Quasar Fire

Also, I would expect something from Rogue One to make it way in there too. Ship designs have to pass through Disney/Lucas. Looking at X-Wing and Armada's recent releases, EVERYTHING has been on screen currently. I'd expect that trend to continue. It's in FFG's and Disney/Lucas's best interest if the releases are also currently on screen. Free cross marketing.

The new season of Rebels starts in September. That'll be the place to watch for what will be in Wave 7+.

Empire: Venator

Both: Quasar carrier

At this point we can be SURE that anything that shows up in Rebels is fair game for Armada or X-Wing. going off that, I'd say it's a no brainer that we'll get The Hammerhead for Rebels, and the Quasar for Imperials.

I say Quasar for Imperials only because of balance. They are short on ships right now, and even though the rebels stole one, it is still an Imperial ship. They could use a small carrier too. Might be similar to the Pelta, but for Imps.

Beyond those two I'm out of concrete ideas. I think it's likely we will eventually see the StarHawk class ships from Life Debt - which MIGHT end up being a Medium-sized ship for the rebels. It should be pretty strong too, from the sound of it. If that happens, then we could get the Finalizer Star Destroyer from Episode 7. Each side would have a powerhouse ship, and the Empire would get their 2nd Large Base, while the rebels get their 2nd medium base.

It will likely be a 2 ship imperial and 1 ship Rebel wave I think with maybe a squadron pack thrown in. Expect it to be announced in November or December maybe as late as March and it will likely come out 5 months after the preview.

I think we will see an imperial ship from Rogue One show up on Force Friday. It would take care of the missing product number. No clue what it will be but that is my thought.

Edit: After that I think it will be all from Rebels. I think it will be awhile until we see force awakens stuff.

Vindicator Heavy cruiser for the empire!

I just had a thought, in the game "Star Wars Empire at War," the Marauder cruiser was the artillery ship. I wonder if we will get a super weak ship but can shoot black dice a long range.

Funny everyone keeps calling it the Acclamator cruiser when its the Acclamator-class transgalactic military assault ships or as simply Republic assault ships.

the problem with this ship is just what it is "A Target" the Acclamator was never meant for fleet engagements.

it is a large unit armored transport ship that's about it.

so it would just be target practice for most rebellion ship.

now the Vindicator Heavy cruiser I would love to see.

finally a true carrier for the might of the Imperial Fighter Corps.
