in this game, can I play it intensively over the summer holiday, get really good, then find out from my students what the address of their home planet is and nuke the **** out of it from orbit when they don't do their homework?
Thats it I quit Armada

Hahahaha I hope so!
I will be getting this as well, but sadly, as a PC gamer, I have to wait until Friday. This game, to me, I am hoping to use to stall my attention until Mass Effect 4 hits. And I will continue to Armada during all video games, since that scratches a very different itch.
After 3 hours with No Mans Sky,
I can say that if you like crafting, exploring, survival, You will love this. (it feels like a 3d starbound)
If you cant stand crafting, survival, exploring your going to not like this game.
I go outside hop in my car and drive 30 mins to the bush with nothing but a rifle, a knife, rope and a tarp if I want that kind of fun
You must be from New Zealand
nar the bigger island to the left mate ![]()
Meanwhile, at Matt's house, the postman just arrived.

...Matt, living so remotely wave 2 just arrived...

Might want to see the doc about that itch! Might need more cowbell!!!
I've spent entirely too much time in this game. I've already charted 4 separate star systems. Been a space pirate. Learned to hate sentinel spaceships. Also found a money planet. Yes. A planet that might as well give me the right to print money.
If you love exploration and survival, then this is your game. I actually enjoy this a lot more than most other games I have been playing.

Man that maneuver tool is so Wave 1 too. ![]()

Sounds.... not exciting.
But to each their own. Enjoy!
I put in a few hours on No Man's Sky last night along with R1H4 and EZ Machine. I'm pretty hooked- solid game! But it will not take away Armada time for me- this new stuff! So much to do!
Ah I will say the game looks great. Would love some in depth feedback!

Tarp is totally cheating, but i'd take a magnesium fire starter over the tarp myself. though i find as I get older, I wonder why this used to be fun.
about five billion years
Only slightly longer than the delay between IFF podcasts, really.
and my blog posts
Taking bets on how long before CB returns.
I give it 10 weeks. That should be long enough to visit all the different systems.

I heard that someone with a test copy reached the center of the universe in about 5 hours and that the game was all hype and no substance.
30 while screwing around with side activities but yep; that's what the guy did
