I confess I just now realized that the TIE/SF Fighter is a TIE Fighter for purposes of cards like Docking Clamps and Youngster.

What can we do with this?

Quickdraw + EI + Rage + Baffle next to Youngster + Expose seems like a pricey but frightening way to delete an ace during the Activation phase.

Somebody tailing your Gozanti? Deploy TIE/SFs from the rear guides with fast maneuvers and focus them down with aux arc shots.

What else?

It technically is but not really.

until Youngster actually gets an Action EPT worth sharing it wont really mean much.

Though i admit the Gozanti point makes me want a 4th tie/sf....lol...since i preordered 3.

Technically youngster with expert handling would be fine though. Give your entire squad TL-shaking powers! Considering theyre 2agi and no evade...thats kinda important...

hmm, with the dual-fire you COULD get use out of Marksmanship Youngster to hand out to the sf's for focus actions on both attacks.

though i think i'd rather just take AC's and not youngster at all lol. No crit out of the deal but i still got my focus for defense (or my roll)
