I am primarily a rebel and Imperial player, but I have found myself unavoidably needing to purchase a Starviper to get the Autothrusters cards.

I am not really too concerned about this, as I actually like a lot of the S&V ships, and I am looking forward to painting them.

My questions are as follows:

- Is there a particular paint scheme that the Black sun uses, or are the ships all individually painted and unified by the Black Sun symbol?

- Are there any paint schemes for other S&V factions such as Jaba's cartel, other Hutts, bounty hunters, etc...?

- Has any one been able to find any good resource/reference material for S&V ships? If so, can you share please?

Early sources say that till after Xizor's death there was only one Starviper - his ship Virago. Maybe in the miniatures-verse, he commissioned others for his Vigos and Enforcers.

Personally I'd recommend using the black and white scheme (so the Starviper and Headhunter can be used unmodified) - and repainting the other Scum and Villainy ships you use in black and white - if you want them all matching, that is.

I've gone for a match to the M3-A / Kihraxz factory paint schemes in green/purple for the Hutt Cartel, but I'll admit I can't find much info/pics online to justify FFG's colour choice:

Have a GR-75 underway in the same colour combo...

Agree with Ironlord re the Black/White for Black Sun, although I hope they bring out a pre-painted Kihraxz for Talonbane in an aces pack, as I'm not really happy with my repaint - white is difficult !

I do want to try for some consistency in the color schemes if possible.

I was even throwing around the idea of doing a TRON scheme as seen on those awesome aggressors that were posted a while back .

I agree that having ships that you can use between factions would be best, but it is just SO hard for me not to have ships specific to the factions
