GenCon Swag

By Futant420, in X-Wing

Just a quick question for those of you with the new prizes from GenCon. Is the Biggs card new art? Or is it the movie still like the old kit one?

Also, can anyone point me to a picture of the acrylic connor nets?

Thanks all in advance

Biggs is extended art of his normal art, I believe.

But it looks **** good when shiny.

Is it plastic? Or just shiny new?

"3D" effect where some parts are shinier than others. Pretty neat looking.

There are a few conner's nets on Ebay - you can find a picture there. It looks just like the cardboard one, it's a bit disappointing.

I checked the ol' bay of E and if it looks just like the cardboard one, I probably skimmed past it. Disappointing that it looks the same. I'd have expected it to be printed red on black acrylic. Thanks for all the replies folks!

I would not call it plastic. It is a very thick card stock with a shiny gloss on the front and back of the card. It that is what the cards at the open series are then people are misrepresenting them as plastic when they are not.

I think you'd be in the minority then. They certainly seem just as plastic as the conner's net, but about half the thickness.

Didn't FFG make it explicit that the spotless cards are plastic? The one I have is plastic

I have collected cards for over 30 years and it does not look plastic to me.
