I'm sure they were still the grey/blue TIEs the navy used, but I'd like customization and differentiation when I do things. Inspiration are the A-10s from the 80s who had woodland camouflage or the Russian Migs with Air/Arctic camouflage.

I try not to lament what Chaos Players lost in the last two editions. Mostly infuriating when we're the short end of the stick, and people justify it when they're getting Knight Titans and Guard as Battle Brothers allies. You can't play competitively vanilla like Wolves or Loyalists, and you're forced to use Demons and Forgeworld just to have enough bite since they nerfed the Heldrake.

Luckily chaos also got Knight allies since Imperial Knights: renegade box set came out. I don't even play, and that made me happy.

Which shouldn't haven taken as long long, or require FW rules.

99% sure you do. Not even can. RAW only the Squads in Artemis' formation don't get them.

sweet. Saw the models in the new WD: I love the ammo pauches on the chestplate (a bit stupid really, but it looks cool) If I had the time and money I'd paint up the one with the hooded head and cape to look like the merchant from Resi 4.

I just assembled my Corvus Blackstar. In my time I've owned a few fliers, a Lightning, Vulture, Storm Talon, Storm Raven.

This is by far my favourite, at least Aesthetically. (That Storm Raven brought so much pain to my opponents that it will always have a special places in everyone involveds hearts).

The Corvus doesn't... quite ... have the firepower of the raven, but:

It Can: Strafing run, drop infinite bombs from the back, reroll jinks, carry bikes and jump infantry.

It cannot: Hitch a Dreadnought, fire at 360 degrees from it's assault cannons and hurricane bolters.

I'd like it if the Deathwatch could use Storm Ravens, i'll be debating with my other self (who is an asshat to debate with) for months if not years which is better.

I do wish DW could take the new fliers too.

I'm really loving that GW finally released a Deathwatch Codex, but it also saddens me somewhat.

I've had a full Battle Company of Space Marines painted up as Deathwatch for about 11 years, complete with either the old metal upgrade shoulder pads or the individual ones you got with the old Command Squad.

Now everyone will just think I've jumped on the bandwagon

He's okay but certainly not worth that price for what he is.

I prefer the original... But to be fair I can say the same about Asmodai and Logan.

I don't think there's any new data sheets in the forthcoming supplement (it's not a full codex), just a few formations and the AoD psychic disciplines translated into chaos-y terms.
