Someone is going to be busy....
$83 for the codex... Ouch.

$83 for the codex... Ouch.
Was $60 for me?
P.S. there will be a Crimson Griffons side project.
Wagon fallen off.
I'll at Least do Artarius and the Aquilonian guard.

Softcover? What I saw was hardcover.
You are weak.
Jeez, I didn't think the Quad Jumper was THAT bad... ![]()

I swear ffg if wave 11 sucks as bad as 9&10 you'll drive us back to GW.

Hardcover, east Canada, so $CAN.... But that usually puts the price up not down...
I've been playing more Infinity that X-wing myself recently. It's weird, it's like my brain only has room for one minis game at a time.

Hey, 9 was good!

Tried infinity, it pissed me off too much.
I tried priming my 1/72 TIE Fighter, I realized I hate painting and I'll probably have to commission work my models. Would explain why my Chaos Lord and Zombie Dragon/Heldrake kitbash never got finished.
Also, Console mods have kept me busy on Fallout 4, despite crashing more than Morrowind or Fallout 1 ever did. I'm debating selling off my models, or finally starting my Ground Support Wing TIEs and Chaos warband.
Ground support wing TIE's..? tell me more.
Imperial Source book for the 80s/90s RPing game, page 92 (iirc) of the second edition. The Imperial Army compromised with the Imperial Navy for Army controlled TIE Fighters to act as dedicated ground support (CAS). Instead of the regular 72 TIEs in a Navy wing, they were reduced to 40 for 24 Lines, 12 Bombers, and 4 Fire Control TIEs. They're garrisoned on army bases instead of Star Destroyers, and the rivalry between GSWs and Navy TIEs was fierce, to the point that pilots had to be segregated while on liberty at Cantinas because of constant brawling.
I was going to get an olive drab TIE going and put army markings on it, but realized I don't have any paint left and so I decided to paint my TIE Red and Blue for my harlequin paintjob for a story I'm going to eventually write one day. Much like that Warband I was supposed to start since... Chaos 3.5 codex. Which I've put off for how many years.
Olive drab TIE's sound strangely awesome.. still cool though.
I have a 3.5 chaos warband that i never really got off of the ground too...
I'm sure they were still the grey/blue TIEs the navy used, but I'd like customization and differentiation when I do things. Inspiration are the A-10s from the 80s who had woodland camouflage or the Russian Migs with Air/Arctic camouflage.
I try not to lament what Chaos Players lost in the last two editions. Mostly infuriating when we're the short end of the stick, and people justify it when they're getting Knight Titans and Guard as Battle Brothers allies. You can't play competitively vanilla like Wolves or Loyalists, and you're forced to use Demons and Forgeworld just to have enough bite since they nerfed the Heldrake.
Please don't get me started. I hate formations.
I'll just be playing sub 1000 point games with my kids.
Edited by DariusAPBI realistically don't play either game, I just observe and infer judgements and opinions. Pot calling the kettle black from Loyalists or disneygen just annoys me though.
Oh Darius... what have you done?
(mustebaygamesworkshopstuffmustebaygamesworkshopstuffmustebaygamesworkshopstuff)
But... But... Deathwatch!
I'll likely get lost patrol too.
I may get a knight. My friend's fiance doesn't want her to keep the puppy she's looking after, so I'm talking with her on what expensive shiny mini to get him.
I even told her about Warhounds and Reaver Titans. Oh the horror.
I've looked at knights, but the Deathwatch killteams is my priority.

Luckily chaos also got Knight allies since Imperial Knights: renegade box set came out. I don't even play, and that made me happy.
