Many of the Major Arcana ask for a special task to be done first, most of them involve drawing some runes (with blood or similiar).

Just to be on the sure side, is this "task" already accounted for in the Halve or Full Action to cast the Arcana? Especially asked for the "Summon Object" Arcana (p. 172) which asks for "ritual bloodletting". I know that "Sorcery" needs gestures and speech, but some of the task seem quiet...lengthy.

I'd tend to believe the time needed to perform the 'ritual bloodletting' required in some of those major arcana would be included in their casting time, since after all they're sorcerous arcana and NOT extended chaos rituals. So much for the rules side of things.

From a personal point of view I'd highly appreciate the player portraying the sorcerer in question to roleplay the whole affair including preparative measures, since I tend to reward such rp. For a nicely portayed invocation I might thus lower the threshold (by maybe one or two) or otherwise make it easier for the player, but that's just my GMing style.
