So, As I read Kad Solus's card it says to assign two focus tokens when you perform a red maneuver. Coupled with Attanni mindlink would I presume that you would assign 2 focus tokens to the other ship? Since the Mindlink card reads 'each other friendly ship with Attanni Mindlink must also be assigned the same type of token if it does not already have one.'

I just want some clarification as the two focus tokens are assigned at the same time, thereby one not cancelling out the other.

An effect that assigns multiple tokens still triggers effects that happen when a token of that type is assigned once for each token. A red manueuver from a mindlinked Kad Solus will result in Kad having two Focus and one stress, and any fellow-linkers getting one Focus and one Stress (provided they didn't already have either).
