Hello guys I was wondering how do people get these alternate art ship cards, I saw some while i was on ebay looking to pick up a few firesprays and thought they looked cool are they offical? and how would one go about collecting them other than ebay as they look pretty on ebay and I can't really justify some of the prices... I'm in australia as well so I can't go to a lot of big events like gencon etc if they are from things like that.
Please excuse the noob question
Alternate Art ship Cards....
Check the Star Wars armada wiki. Most cards are from seasonal game kits that your FLGS could have as prize support.
They are typically from official tournaments. Some are participation awards while others are given for varying placings (top 8, top 4, runner up, etc).
Greetings akenatum from Lismore NSW
Where do you hail from?
Oh the fire spray should be in summer 2016 kit.
Hello Flengin I'm at Penrith, nsw.
I know there are 3 stores that sell armada here but the one I like to visit doesn't run the kit nights. maybe one of the other 2 hobby stores in the area run them, might have to ask, Thanks for the Info guys
I appreciate it.
Pretty sure us Aussies do not get the support our Northern Hemisphere cousins gets. FFG interested in our money, just not a lot (if any from what they say here in Wollongong) support for us as too costly (our dollar being interest to sell, but makes us hard to service due to cost of living and so forth)
Yep. All I've gotta say is that Book Depository is my friend when it comes to Armada. Not that I 'should' be buying international or anything but to buy from my FLGS costs 60% more (though I still do with smaller purchases).
I'm keeping a running map in my head of where every Aussie on the forum is located, just in case I ever get the chance to play them. So far....Penrith, Bathurst, Wollongong, Perth........
Even BrisVagas feels close compared to these ![]()
So I guess it's back to playing all the people I've introduced to the game (plus the guy who introduced me) ![]()

Also, love your user name. I was a big fan as a kid.

If you have a local store which runs Armada nights, then ask them to run seasonal store tournaments. FFG sell tournament kits, which contain the alt art prizes amongst other things. If you guys are willing to pay a small entrance fee for a day of armada fighting, then its in the shops interest to purchase a tournament kit. I think they will be six monthly from now on.

The seasonal store tournament kits should be available in all countries where buying the ships is quite easy. (I say this because there are countries where buying ships is tough, let alone getting a store kit).
You wont see it on the shelves of your local shop, but if you show interest the store can get the kit and run a tourney for you!
Good Games is the Australian Distributor.
You do need to get on a local store and get them to contact GG directly... They can be kind of... lax... without some prodding.
In my case, E-Bay. I can't win a **** tournament!

You should also be aware that the Firespray alt art is specifically a Boba Fett alt art.
