I've been playing around with the potentially strong interaction between sense and seasoned navigator for an ARC squad and have landed on this. I fought the urge to use Saesee as he'll burn through force tokens too quickly/regen too slowly and easily become a limiting factor. Add in leaning on the use of sense beyond range 1 it really needs a jedi with three FP. Mace would work well in this list as well and free up points upgrades to keep ARCs flying just a bit longer.

Sinker helping fix blanks seems like it'd make CLT better. Kinda a cool choice, but Wolffe does let you go 7B on Anakin...

I dunno. Sinker's range is pretty long, and those side arcs are huge. I still want to fly more with him, but he does feel like he covers a massive amount of the board. Full flanking doesn't really work, but you can keep things fairly loose, so long as everyone is engaged.

I havnt felt that Sinker really demands formation flying

I've managed to remain mobile with him still helping out his squad

Note: in most of the instances he gets dogpiled, the opponent has no dangerous attack opprotunities on his friends (sure, range 1 soonts but no bullseye)

Sinker is a **** of a decoy, who costs the same as my Cody Wolfe and a lot less than Lumy

Sinker is great, I flew in formation early and then would split up depending on rocks/potential blocks.

It's an awesome feeling when you take a shot and Sinker's ability kicks in even when your ships are spread out!

I agree he makes a great decoy but I did find people would try to take him out even when it wasn't the best option.

Sinker has been an essential centerpiece to over 50% of my Republic lists.

He will likely remain as such.
