After playing volleyball with an oiled up Marek Stele.....
Intensify Forward Firepower XXIII: M'Liberty
Weird, found this profile on okcupid...
Alas, just as in Frankenstein, this thread is proof that man is, in fact, the actual monster.
hahaha SkyCake's response.
Thanks guys, you've made doing our podcast a pleasure! Maybe we should do another one soon....
Admittedly Steve, I was laughing out loud in my car at the Marek part of the cast. My God.....
and Kenny Loggins.....
Caldias tryin' to get serious in an IFF thread.
I can't wait to try and figure out the 'Dictor!
I can't wait for the heartwarming reconcilliation between Jud and Werthington.
I think I have the 'Dictators number because it is just that. A Dictator of the battlefield. It is the ship that can hinder and limit and dictate what goes on throughout the battlefield.
It does not need to be super aggressive but if it keeps an enemy in the front arc for a turn longer or forces a hard activation choice, that to me is just as important as maybe a full VSD 2 attack at medium.
The only thing an Interdictor hinders is your allotted points pool. "Hi, I'm a ship that has no role without Upgrades." Reminds me of the XWING Tie Bomber. The platform costing near double the points for the 'potential' of performing its role, which meant buying more upgrades so it could actually BE a bomber.
Ya, Ya. I know. X and Y ship use this A and B upgrades to be THIS and THAT role. Wutevs. Both Vettes stand on their own as afar as role. ISD, GSD, AF, NEB-B, right down the line, all have a naked built in role comensurate with their points value...add points to taste. What role does a 90pt Interdictor fill? Point sink.
I like the Interdictor less than the Raider. The Raider I WANTED to play with and make work, but I was always too scared of its fragility and it always got cut from my final lists. And to others' credit, they did make it work and I enjoyed seeing it do well. The Interdictor is the last ship in the Imperial arsenal, amongst all the other ships begging me to give them play time, that I would make efforts to get to the table.
Let me cast the final dagger... The interdictor is a Ship mitigator in a game that is slowly turning into Heavy Squadron play.
Of course there is always the chance I am 100% FoS.

It is a ship that requires upgrades to have a role bit that is good. That means it has versatility and has unique tricks.
It has the same number of dice as an Assault Frigate, more hull, more engineering, and the only downside is that it is expensive.
Of course there is 100% chance of Lyr being FoH.

Keep it up guys, by farrrr my favorite podcast vs all the Xwing ones (nova, backtodials, kessel, scum) .
Entertaining, not too long, yet informative, perfect.
I'm exceptionally curious to see the ship in competitive play.
Hey thanks Amraam01! Means a lot ![]()
