Khirazxh with salvaged astromech slot?
No Man's Sky
I only just realized - after an hour or so of running around on my starter planet - that I could have been flying in my ship the whole time. Once I realized that, getting to the markers was really fun and easy.
Really liking this game so far, haven't really experienced any issues.
My current ship has the astromech :-) course i have to go fix the hyperdrive and i can't find a trade point.
Right now kinda a little bored.
Yet to find ships with transmission towers - what am I doing wrong?
Wow....great advice! I'll have to tell my son about this. Dang, and he's just going out of town for the day. He'll be back tomorrow. I'll have to remember to tell him.

Not sure. Every transmission tower, when you solve the puzzle correctly, gives you a waypoint to a crashed ship. The waypoint is a orange/red with a white spiral in the middle and when you move toward it, it says crashed ship.

Is this PS4 or PC? Most transmission towers don't even have puzzles for me.
It's both. They all have puzzles. The terminal isn't always on the same side of the room, but it's always there.
I'll have to give it a further look tonight.
I did the trick in the video and found it quite lucrative. The Korvax station I'm currently at buys them at +98% average and most of the ships sell at -1% average. I found another way to make money. I found a planet with Korvax Vortex Cubes sprinkled liberally on its surface. It's a little dangerous though as if you take one you get a group of 3 Sentinels, 2 flying and 1 ground, who will "object" to your "collecting" of said cubes. Also make sure you kill the Sentinels before they report. I found out, after just running away, that there are Sentinels in space as well.

Find a crafting recipe that takes vortex cubes and when dismantled gives back at least one cube (beam impact theta). When you view that cube it's a stack of 1 of 100, instead of the usual 1 of 1. You can now stack all the other cubes onto that stack. You can do this with any items received through dismantling.
Unrelated, but I just read this and it's worth sharing. A story of an experience someone had:
This post is kinda long but I feel it's details are necessary for you to get the full picture of what happened. So there I was playing no mans sky jumping from system to system. Specifically I was looking for manufacturing facilities interested in finding different blueprints.
Well I came to one system which had one so I flew down to it. It was HEAVILY guarded by sentinels. Like at least 10 sentinels. I managed to fight my way into the facility and solve the little puzzle expecting a very valuable blueprint. To my shock, I didn't receive any blueprints or items or anything. I was pissed! I walked out of the facility and as soon as I did I received an "Anomaly Detected" notification. I became super curious as to what it could be. It was about 2 systems over so after fueling my hyperdrive I warped over to it. This is where it gets weird. The anomaly was actually on a planet which is something I've never seen before. I flew down and all it is, is a monolith.
Still curious at this point, I walk up to it and interact with it. It's just a normal korvax monolith. It only spoke one word which surprisingly I understood. "Give". I had the option to give 10 thamium9, 10 heridium or to ask what the monolith desired. I chose to ask. The monolith then pauses for a second before it says, "...I need about tree fiddy"
Well it was about that time that I noticed that this monolith was about an 8 story tall crustacean from the paleolithic era with big red eyes lookin down on me and I said "DAMMIT Loch Ness monster! I don told you I ain't givin you no **** tree fiddy! I work for my units and I don't give units away!" That's like the fourth time this week.
I totally don't get the story.

It's a South Park meme. Look up "tree fitty".
Edited by T70 DriverAnyone else having a problem with the timer when flying to a waypoint on a planet? Every now and then the timer will go up instead of down as I'm flying to it and it takes forever to get to it.

I have found it a little wacky so I approach them like I'm dropping a bomb - line it up, fly over it and when I'm ready to land I hit E and down I go.
Anyone else finding it difficult to maintain Humanities true hegemony in the stars, exterminating all alien scum in an unwavering tide of glorious hatred?
Anyone tried the beta patch yet?
Tip on ship upgrades:
Every crashed ship has +/-1 of your current ship. You can find multiple crashed ships on a planet using bypass chips to locate transmission towers...
I bought a couple for a lot of money after farming Emeril and gold before learning it. And went up 10 slots by doing it. Just keep going to crashed ships, dismantling the broken components for resources, and if they're a slot bigger, repair just the thruster and plasma jet and then search for more crashes.
I got attached to a dbz looking 38 slot ship right now but I know eventually I'll start ship hunting again until I'm max slots.
Good idea....unless you've got the pre-order ship bug like I do. I don't have the Hyperdrive recipe because of it. Every ship I've come across, except for the one I have now, have had no Hyperdrive in them to repair. So, until they fix that bug, I'm stuck with a 19 slot ship.

Umm, this is No Man's Sky. Warhammer 40,000 is over that way.
I think it's a joke and in 40K you would say xenos scum
And we're in the X-Wing Off-Topic thread and if i'm not mistaken Sheev also wasn't the biggest fan of aliens.

You may want to take a look at that , but of course i doesn't really confirm anything.
I was soooorrrtajokingiiiish. But I must admit i'd like to exterminatus a planet or two or have the option to be a psychotic bastard.
I was totally referencing 40k though.
Suffer not the Alien to live!
Edited by DariusAPBMan! I'm really interested in this game, but between fallout 4 (which I just bought and haven't finished yet) and X wing, I can't see myself having time for a game of this magnitude.

Wait for the steam sale then, it's not going anywhere
