This has turned out well.
Looks great and all the parts blend well together.
Maybe as suggested a fine inking would help the panels pop out a bit more.
But.....
That is if that is what your looking for.

Thanks Barry, I think I'll let it sit for a little bit and then come back to it. Do a bit more practice on drawing tiny pinups on awkward surfaces. . Maybe paint with pencil shading...

As for the dish, I thought of adding a system slot option as possibly an upgrade.
When I first saw the red penciling by the pin up girl in that last photo I thought it said "git gud" which makes it even more awesome
Sorry for the late update, but I seem to have lost my notes while I was out of town. I had to do my best to remember what I had so far! Let me know what you think, I thought of using a blend of several large base ships.
Here we go:
Stat line- 3 attack, 2 evade, 5 hull, 5 shield
Action bar: focus, target lock, evade, boost
Dial: shadow caster or aggressor or a blend of both (3 s-loop replacing the 3 turn on SC.)
Upgrade bar: EPT, turret, system, crew, crew, elicit, elicit.
Titles:
Tailgunner Gal
YT-1760
When attacking with an equipped turret and the defender is inside your rear arc, reduce that ships agility by one. (To a minimum of 0)
Freelance Pilot
Yt-1760
You may use this ship in any faction, and may equip that faction crew in addition to your orginating faction (you may equip one additional title )
Electronic Warfare Specialist
Yt1760
Your upgrade bar gains an additional system slot or one tech slot.
(Granted the Freelance title is more for fun)

I really want to integrate these turrets into my ship. I thought of making one by using a micromachine TIE as a base, as it is scaled slightly smaller than the standard FFG.

Your best bet is probably just a Google search...in the UK, I only found a couple of places with it, and [i think] one eBay seller...certainly, the place I got mine only had one, and then restocked a few weeks later - so its probably similar elsewhere, but hopefully more available in the States or Japan.

I wouldn't mind trying this, especially since they're putting out another Falcon and I already have 2 old ones. What diameter are the outer/inner tubes for the engines?

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my first attempt at a customization at this level.

So much can be done with some courage and a small saw
. Very nice work.
The main part or the engine is a pipe coupling 21mm in diameter, the outer sections are plasticard. I used a heat gun to soften the plasticard and glued it using Gorilla Glue. Gorilla glue might not be the best choice, since it expands a bit. The secondary engines are a Bic pen.
