Corran Horn and 2 Hull

Is he even playable anymore?

Is he even playable anymore?

Ps 8-10 3-attack 3-defence regenning FCS-doubletapping monster?

he is. There's just now another way of avoiding the "regenning" monster part.

nothing too fancy.

Is he even playable anymore?

Hopefully not. Screw that regen NPE garbage.

Thank god Rebels are no longer competitive, game is much better without fat turrets and regen. Rebels even have a turret ship that regenerates, can you believe that? For when you're so bad at the game that even your training wheels have training wheels.

:)

Yes.

Fly him alongside Biggs to soak torpedoes, then once Wave 9 drops switch from FCS to Advanced Sensors for your PtL builds so you don't end the turn stressed. Now go forth and crush your foes.

Sadly, but you just end up with a Bat-Horn. And PS8 :c

I run him almost exclusively - I ran him at regionals and I'll be taking him to nationals.

After that, I think I'll be dropping him for the foreseeable future, which makes me a sad penguin. I think he's good, but with so much of the anti-stress coming out it'll make it tougher to fly him. DR4CO makes a good point, suggesting he goes with Advanced Sensors - will probably be mandatory...

...

Can't tell if you are being ironic or an *******?

i dunno why i didn't have it that way before, but PGS is def. on my ignore list now.

I just can't understand why someone could hate this game so much, and yet continue to play it.

y'see, when i stop enjoying something, i stop doing it.

And since Rebels, Regen, and Turrets have existed since the very beginning of the game, it's absolutely a core part of it.

You can't have X-Wing without any of those things.

ironically, playing a game with PGS is the biggest NPE of all time.

Go ahead, ignore me. Let me spread my poison unopposed. :)

I'm enjoying this game even more now that there are no more rebel players. It's fantasic currently, if Palp Aces was stopped too we'd have the perfect meta.

I only hate rebels because until recently, the only viable things they had were fat turrets and regen and those were awful for the game. Regen on a T-65 or Y-Wing is just fine. Turrets on a Y-Wing are just fine. Even the Falcon is arguably tolerable without C-3PO. Obviously I'm not talking about those.

Yes, you can have X-Wing without mechanics that cater to the Candyland demographic.

You're actually right about that last one, recently I've started flying Dengaroo just to frustrate opponents and have fun at their expense. It's great fun.

The very definition of a toxic player. But hey, once all three factions are gone, we can start to have REAL fun!

Is he even playable anymore?

He costs too much, regeneration doesn't work with new toys, he has to chose between PS 10 and lack of repositioning and action economy or PS 8 and threat of being constantly arc-dodged. Also PtL version is absurdly overpriced.

It is a shame because it is my favourite ship in the whole game.

So, the second option then <_<

The very definition of a toxic player.

Everybody has preferences. Some people just love facerolling while shooting red dice from the rear and regenning.

I'm not saying it's bad or something, but it's dull.

Others can't live when someone has PS higher and they have to play X-wing properly (aka predict the enemy ) and nag about things that can beat them while they turtle-token-up.

I'm not saying it's bad or something, but it's dull.

And any dude who runs around pants-down and ignore-lists everyone who isn't in his camp on every matter?

Well, off he goes, back to kindergarten, where "I don't hear you!" and demonstrative shutting of ears is a way to go.

Off with them.

Look on the bright side: now that there's enough anti-ace tech out there, corran is BP longer a dominant force.

Which means the ship as a whole can afford a wee buff. :)

What do you think of this?

Title - E-Wing MK II - E-Wing Only - 4 Pts. If you have at least one shield, when you are dealt a Damage card, discard it immediately without resolving its effect.

A counter to counters? Nope.

True, he is famed for doing just about everything in his power to win that doesn't involve actually being better at the game.

I think it's a silver bullet. What if your opponent doesn't have BMST or a Proton Bomb?

Corran not only is viable, but he's also very strong right now.

Don't listen who cries "rebels are out of the meta", "rebels regen is gone, goodriddance".

Corran with VI, fcs, R2 alongside Biggs with R4D6, Integreted and Wes Janson with VI, R3A2, integreted is one of the strongest list of the meta. It won 2 regionals and reached top 4 of gencon in the USA and won another regional in Italy with a top 8 at the Kashyyk open.

Corran in this setup hits like a truck (two hits with at least target lock per turn against no tokens opponents thanks to Wes) and often find himself into his best environment: the late game 1v1 where his 42 point cost means he has always the upper hand and good luck destroying a 3 green dice covered with evade and regen in 1v1

Kylo ren isn't out yet

wave 9 isn't even out yet

so...yeah, nothing's changed about him :P

I lose track around this time of year, given we're weeks behind on a good day as is...

Yeah, 9-0 in Swiss against a pretty solid GenCon field on top of two Regionals wins suggests Corran is doing okay if you know what you're doing as a player.

Are you not thinking of putting gonk on manaroo? :P

My wife plays him along with Etanh A'bath. And it quite works.

Until the day regen is nerfed, I feel no pity for corran.

I look forward to killing him with slicers soon.
