I have RB first edition and the rules were a tad hard to read and take in. They confused both me and my buddy.

I was wondering if its possible to use RB v2 rules to play the first edition.

Since I dont have either of them Id like to try to get them here.

About halfway down the page. I'm assuming the "advanced Runebound rules" are also related to 1e.

As far as playing 2e rules with a 1e box, I have no idea how well it would work. The 2e rules are available on the same page, so feel free to read them and see for yourself.
