100pt Rebel Build

Hi all,

I'm quite new to X-Wing still but have already bought plenty of ships within the last month or so. The problem I have is that I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the combinations of ships, pilots and upgrades that I find it difficult to come up with anything that looks good. I wondered if some of you could give me a few suggestions based on what ships I have just to give me an idea on the types of synergies I could use. So far I have only played with the X, B and A wings as the Rebels. I received the HWK 290 and would if possible like to use it, but I'm struggling with the 100pt limit to put anything together that I feel will allow me to keep the HWK alive more than a few rounds.

Any suggestions, advice and ideas greatly appreciated.

Here's what I came up with, using only what you have. It's probably not going to win tournaments, but you should have fun with it.

Dash Rendar (YT-2400) + Lone Wolf + Heavy Laser Cannon + Intelligence Agent + Outrider (51)

Blue Squadron Novice (T-70) + R5-X3 + Integrated Astromech (25)

Blue Squadron Pilot (B-Wing) + Fire Control System (24)

Fly it with debris clouds instead of asteroids (Dash doesn't care about the debris clouds). R5-X3 is on the T-70 just for use with Integrated Astromech. (If you have another 1-point astromech droid, you can sub that in, but I think this is the only one you have.) Fly the Blues in formation on one side, and Dash on the other, in a hammer/anvil tactic.

How does that look? Was going to keep HWK next to the T-70 and B wing and have Dash smash through them

I don't like Lando with Dash, he's too random. Recon Specialist would be a better choice, imo.

If you are using the Blaster Turret, you really need to have Recon Specialist on the HWK. It costs a focus to fire that turret, so you will want to have a second focus to modify dice. You can drop Lando from Dash to afford that.

Alternatively, change Roark to Rebel Operative with Ion Cannon Turret, and change Lando to Recon Specialist on Dash (or leave him if you don't mind the random element). This leaves you 2 points that you could put the Weapons Guidance tech on the T-70.

Thanks for the feedback. Dropped the crew from the YT-2400, changed blaster to ion, and addedweapo s guidance to T-70.
