Im still alive.

By Gottmituns205, in Star Wars: Armada Off-Topic

Just getting divorced, I lost 45 pounds and I haven't done Armada in a month.

No she's not getting the Venator.

No she's not getting the Venator.

...all she left me with was this stinkin' Victory...to good news is it will soon be able to do 90 degree turns!

Glad to hear you are alive, sorry about the rest!

Hmmmmm. . . . I am thinking of Louis C.K. on this. . .

“Divorce is always good news. I know that sounds weird, but it’s true because no good marriage has ever ended in divorce. That would be sad. If two people were married and ... they just had a great thing and then they got divorced, that would be really sad. But that has happened zero times.”

A coworker of mine went through a divorce and his sentiment was "divorce is expensive because it's worth it." Had a bad situation with the ex-missus. Much happier since he got divorced (and subsequently remarried a few years later*).

*Which reminds me of another quote, this time from Samuel Johnston on second marriages: "the triumph of hope over experience."**

**To be fair, he does seem much happier so far. So hopefully it continues that way.

I can't remember the source of this quote but it was from a guy after his second divorce.

"Next time I'm not getting married. I'll just find someone I don't like and buy them a house."

**To be fair, he does seem much happier so far. So hopefully it continues that way.

Does your coworker have a Venator though? Whats the correlation between Venator ownership and happiness? Must be pretty solid correlation right there.

Welcome back.... hope you can find some table time **** soon, sounds like you could use it!

Yeah I'm aiming to get back into Armada when I move back up to Columbus, the goal is to try and get in a game/comp once a week.

I'm undead. Glad to meet you.

I'm undead. Glad to meet you.

Hope you guess my name.

Couldn't help myself

It's no surprise really. My friends have been equating me to the devil for most of my life.

I have, on occasion, introduced myself with, "Pleased to meet you. Hope you've guessed my name."

It is my lot in life.

(The war in heaven was a fight for justice I'll have you know!)

Also, for subby.
