Are conditions 'the Force'?

By Conandoodle, in X-Wing

As the subject suggests. Are the new mechanic of Conditions a way of representing the Force in X-Wing?

Does this mean we may see crew cards for Obi Wan and Yoda that come with a range of conditions? Or, like the Emperor, the use of the Force is reflected in the crew's ability.

Will there be various force users and a range of conditions that be selected from (like upgrades to a ship?

Will we see force powers from the EU? Bastilla's Battle Meditation for example.

Am I way off the mark?

You're way off the mark. There are conditions for Sabine's TIE (looks like it's something like Surprise Attack or similar), Unkar Plutt, and what looks likely to be General Hux crew. They're not remotely specific to force users, though there's nothing in particular to stop them being used that way I guess..

there's no Midichlorian condition

Conditions are effects that are too verbally complex to keep on one card so they just put "apply ---- condition" instead and let a full size card fill in all the nitty gritty language detail.

Exactly, sometimes you want to be able to do something but you can't explain it in less than a twitter post. Those mini cards allow like what, 75 characters? Plenty of interesting things you could do but can't because there is no way to spell it out.
