Help with a Scum list varient

By saltsaltsalt, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

So I tried out this list today with good results but I'm trying to decide a couple things and am curious if anyone has tried the same thing somewhere.

The list:

Bossk

Greedo

1 rHK Assassin

2 rTrandoshan Hunter

1 Gideon

1 Temp Alliance

1 Under Duress

So the main thing I want to test and am really curious about is the above list versus a list running c3p0 and 2 last resort instead of Greedo. Or potentially c3p0 and 1 last resort instead of gideon (eep).

So why on earth would I do such a weird thing? The biggest reasons are 2 fold. Greedo charging in with last resort and attacking means chances are people WON'T attack him back (likely) which gives him a free attack. (I had at first mistaken his card and thought people HAD to attack him back which would have been WAY more interesting!)

So that's one train of thought. The other idea is 2 last resorts each attached to a trandoshan. Now you might scoff at the idea however trando's are meant to get up in the face of their enemies. They benefit more than most units from this. This allows you to be a little more aggressive with your trando's and get more milage out of them. The REAL reason is because while I think this list is incredibly potent it lacks ways of dealing with trooper spam. You excel at doing large damage to a small number of units. So if you face a trooper list of 10-12 figures. It becomes VERY difficult to not fall behind.

This arguement is in a mini-vacuum assuming the map you are currently playing is something very neutral where both teams struggle to pull away on points due to objectives.

Have people tried out Greedo a bit to see if he's truly worth it? (I've liked him so far, but find using him quiet difficult to use without his negative ability triggering)

Greedo is actually pretty good. I am on record having serious doubts before playing him. He can really deal some damage especially when focused. He's also very fast, has good range but has to be played right. You need to pick your targets carefully. He loves short ranged guys or melee figures (like obiwan) or weaker troopers.

My concern with your plan, is that usually last resort is just that, Most opponents will space their figures out any way, and not let you get multiple figures in base to base, they will also move back a space before killing you off if they can. If you play a lot of melee jedi figures or royal guards, this would be a great strategy, but against a lot of troopers, you may struggle as they are always on the move and have a BG attack die.

Bossk is your fix for trooper spam. You may actually consider the elite wing guard as well for double strain or weakening other troops, then finishing them off with your shots or when their deck runs out.
