So, not having taken the opportunity to wrap my poor overworked fingers around these lovelies, I am curious what scale these money suckers come out to be. Are they 28s (which is good) or 32s (eh, not so good)?
Scale and scale and scale
32. Why not so good?
Thanks to GW, precise scale for these size figs is so fluid across so many manufacturers that there isn't really a difference between 28 and 32mm scales. I've just started lumping all such games into a generic 30mm scale and call it close enough.
32. Why not so good?
Matching larger scales can be tricky for scenery. I played WEG Star Wars a lojg time ago (well, still do) and found most models can be fudged to look good. For me, the smaller scales are better.
Now, that being said, I recall Imp Assault isbclose to WotCbso there may be opportunities there for scenery and such.
So? What is the scale of the game?

But it's played on a grid... making scenery for displays? Also, the figures are not to scale with eachother in general.
It's funny people care about scenery size when a lot of figures for things like 40k or Warmachine have hands bigger than their heads and staves and swords that are comparable to small trees and would be completely useless as a weapon.
In general, miniature games run approximately 1/50th scale. Thats why so many people use 1/48 vehicles for games.
They really seem to be more like 1/60 scale.
1/50 would work out to around 36mm scale, and I don't think scale creep has crept that far yet.
So? What is the scale of the game?
None is officially listed. Going by comparisons to other manufacturers, you can assume "around 28mm".
Keep in mind that the scale does slide with large/massive figures. It has never intended to be a fixed scale like X-Wing (outside the Epic ships).
