Can we get a list and command cards from the top 8? If you participated would you mind sharing? Thank you

As I said before, I'm not sure that the Wing Guards are worth it, so I'd probably go with another set of eStormtroopers.
I was happy with the command deck. I didn't really find that any cards were underwhelming for me. Rather, I often found myself with very few cards in my hand, because I was finding so many good opportunities to play them.

Hey just wanted to chime in. This is Desmond. I appreciate what thereisnotry had to say! I think someone may have put the wrong squad in for me though. I played 2x eEcho Base, 2x eRebel troopers, Gideon, 3p0, and Diplo.

Gencon was great, there was alot of really strong competition there. Looking fwd to seeing you guys at Worlds!

The following is the list I piloted to 2nd place.

My basic strategy for the day was to give my opponent as few options as possible for getting points while I get 1 per turn with Gideon. On maps like Fallout and Reprogrammed I just need to make sure I'm getting more per turn or pick up more tokens. This is the primary reason for so many movement command cards. Obi-Wan is also a huge help for making this happen, denying my opponent from being able to interact.

Once I am ahead in points it becomes a game of cat and mouse where I avoid as much combat as possible. Sometimes I will feign interest in a certain area of the map or a terminal just to get my opponent to commit and keep them away from the bulk of my squad. Eventually they may take out a wookiee or two and at that point they realize there is only 5 min left in the round and they are behind in points, most of the time it is too late for them. By the time they reach the bulk of my squad they are all focused and I have a hand full of command cards. At that point I look to take out low point single figures like Imperial Officers, an opponents Gideon, or maybe a Blaise.

The one map I didn't test was One Man's Trash. This map can prove very difficult for a squad of all slow moving melee. I lost both times I played this map during the event (one was the finals match).

I had an awesome time at GenCon and all of my opponents were super cool. The community for this game is fantastic. Looking forward to worlds this year!
