I wonder if Scum is moving toward having actual subfactions, like Black Sun, Hutt Cartel and Mandoloreans. Now that we have Protectorate fighters, Firesprays and Lancers for Mandos and we already have lots of fighters that can be repainted for Hutts and black sun. All we need is some epic ships like Jabba's cruiser and we are set! Not that subfactions mean jack at this point...

I think we will, as more bad guys from 'large organizations' are reintroduced into SW:Rebels or the new flicks. The Han Solo movie should give us more info on the Hutts and the black marketin a galaxy far, far way. Episode 7 had the Guavian Death Gang and mentions some other groups of baddies, but tell THAT to Kanjiklub.

The only questions are how FFG will retro the existing ships and pilots... and how the Hell will it breakdown??.

I figure if they did this, FFG would add only ONE sub-faction. I hope it's the Hutt Cartel. I think that the only, for-sure, Hutt pilots are Syndicate Thug and Cartel Marauder (probably wrong). Seems like it would be easy (and perfect) to release a few new cards/tiles/dials in a big Jabba's Yacht box. Then Black Sun could be added later- I think there are only 4-5 pilots and most have "Black Sun" right on the card.

I'd be down for Mandos!
