Rex's first name is Captain.
beats "CT-7567" any **** day
rex is a veteran from the clone wars (both the war and the TV show), though, and he made an appearance in Rebels (which apparently qualifies him to fly Sabine's Tie, but not an ARC
) just like Ahsoka
Yes....but the ARC-170 is the retro fitted one that is only in the Galactic Civil War. Rex is an old guy by the time the show is around. He doesn't do combat flight anymore in a snub nosed ship. So, he shouldn't be allowed to fly it. It goes to show that it's NOT a Clone Wars ship brought into the game, but a GCW ship that also happened to be used in the Clone Wars. It doesn't matter that he flew the ARC-170 in the Clone Wars, as it's not representing ships/pilots from that time period.
oh, I don't care about the whole era thing (ie Clone in a Clone War ship; I really couldn't care less about continuity like that). the thing is captain rex is alive and relatively well during the civil war that the game takes place in.
He is, therefore, almost as qualified to fly the ARC as Norra/Shara/Thane/Braylen, apart from the fact that I don't think he ever flew a ship (he's an AT-AT kinda guy)?
but he's getting to fly a tie fighter...so?
and I like this game's ARC a lot more than this game's Tie Fighter, so I'll take
any
excuse to get more pilots for it
