Don't think he has an EPT. Spread looks like the PS below Kylo is no EPT, so I doubt he does.

The idea of Kylo actually flying the shuttle amuses me.

I like the idea of Kylo crew'd Shuttle, Backdraft, and Colzet w/FCS.

You find the ship you hate, you tag it with a conditional and the Blinded Pilot card. Get Backdraft a sweet shot sometime and get that crit through (most likely on anything but Palp Aces) and then after your enemy flips blinded pilot that round by not shooting, you spend Colzet's target lock to flip it back.

Keep one enemy blinded the entire game while you deal with the rest of the squad.

I don't quite follow this train of thought where this condition ignores shields. But, I do want to bring something interesting up. Kylo Shuttle with Palp and the new 0pt "A Score to Settle" will combo pretty well together. Or, you could slap Kylo and Palp on a Deci with the ept as well. Provides for a Palpmobile that can fend pretty well for itself.

don't think you need to crit stack too much

you have to cancel hit results before crits anyway (unless you're zeb) and Dark Side Showing will fall off as soon as the card is dealt

if you have room for crackshot to force the crit though green dice, that's probably a more useful investment

This sounds like a job for 23point Lieutenant Colzet!

This wave is turning around to be pretty freakin amazing for me really, really quickly. Incredible job fickle dissecting this card. I'm amazed we all tossed it aside after our first read and never looked at it again to realize it was AMAZING.

Hmm, it seems the condition persists even if the ship causing it is already gone. So... even nuking down kylo might not be enough to prevent those nasty crits from happening. Ouch.

Seems like a good interpretation. Although "it's official" is a bit misleading, as there is no indication that this interpretation has actually been made "official" by anyone outside of the forums.

Question: Maarek Steele seems to exploit this condition incredibly well, so what am I misreading to make this not busted.

To me it looks like this is the situation: Maarek gets an uncanceled critical result (aka critical damage). Condition attempts to deal specified face up damage card. Maarek replaces that card being assigned with drawing 3 card and picking 1, which is still assigned under shields. Condition crit is not used up as it being applied was replaced. Maarek's next uncancelled critical result behaves exactly the same way since the condition is still in effect and never places the faceup card onto the target ship.

stele and leebo need a faq to clarify how it works because right now the wording is broken.

Stele: "When your attack deals a faceup damage card to the defender, instead draw 3 Damage cards, choose 1 to deal, and discard the others"

Issue - You didnt "draw" 3 cards, you drew 2 because of the condition card. Meaning either you completely bypass the card and it sits there, or you break stele's wording. Other option is "instead of the usual effect" means, in this case, the usual effect is Stele's ability. I dont really see how you could say any way is better than the other in terms of how its suppose to work.

Leebo: "When you are dealt a faceup Damage card, draw 1 additional Damage card, choose 1 to resolve, and discard the other"

...actually rereading Leebo there literally isnt an issue here UNLESS you rule Stele's as the "usual effect" which gets trumped by the card, which would trump this too. You were given a faceup card via the condition, Leebo draws 1 more and picks. This one kinda hinges on the Stele justification.

2 things: 1) assuming you mean crew Vader they actually don't interact sadly, as crew Vader happens after the attack and the condition only works on critical damage from the attack. 2) if Maarek works as I described above and bypasses the card sitting on the condition then it's pretty broken. He gets through 3 uncanceled crit results on a full health bwing and instead of it taking 1 face up and 2 shields it's dead. Replace bwing with any ship with shields and <= 3 hull. Sure it's possible he won't get that many crits but with something like 'a score to settle', Palpatine, and advanced targeting computer it's possible he'll be dropping 3 crits a shot pretty frequently and if he can break this condition to bypass shields every time he sends through an uncanceled crit that's insane.
