Who the heck is Sabine?
Like, why is she in so many ships? I don't remember her in the movies, so why the heck is some second-rate character from some short stories or something everywhere? And both scum and rebel? Next we'll see her in the Imperium!
She's a major character in Star Wars Rebels. As a member of the Ghost crew, she ended up as both a crew and a pilot card in the Ghost set. As Ketsu Onyo's former partner, she ended up was one of the pilots of the Shadowcaster. And because the Rebel TIE was painted and modified by her, she ends up being one of the pilots.
So basically, just chance.
I'm still waiting for an Astromech version of Chopper.

Also, if we ever get that orange Bwing theres no way its 16pts. Its literally just another Bwing unless they try to factor in that weapon somehow, which would probably be an entirely "new" ship with low attack and a free title that severely amplifies the attack if it hits.

The B-wing prototype was silly. But holding that as a judgement against the whole series is like writing off A New Hope because of Luke's whining.

B-Wings are anti-capital ship weapons. Why do people still not get this?
It's not like it's an indestructible fighter capable of blowing up solar systems and written by Kevin J Anderson. It's just a prototype B-Wing with a big gun.

pfff, that is a light cruiser, about corvette size. In ROTJ a wing of 12 B-Wings killed nearly as many ISD-2s with their firepower. That is a hell of a lot more firepower than what this composite beam laser has. THat type of laser was even used a side-weapon in laatis during the clone wars. So the big gun is nothing new and apparently not even powerful enough as it got replaced by even more powerful weapon systems afterwards. I mean sure, with Kyber-Crystals that design would have been valid … but the rebellion had no access to those.

That whole episode is a love letter to an old West End Games RPG module - just enough changed that you wouldn't recognize it unless you KNEW what it was going for.

If you've ever seen Gundam you'd know that prototype units are always the most OP version of a ship/mobile suit, you know since they give it all the prototype equipment that is far too expensive to mass produce. Clearly Quarrie knew this principle when he built the B(lade)-Wing prototype.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Those were the noises I used when flying my SW ships around back in the day. That is, when I got tired of the whining 'laser' battery powered noise that came with the toys.

Well when going from TIE Advanced to TIE Advanced Prototype it is 1 less hull and goes down to 14 points. So for the B-wing to Prototype B6 how about 1 less hull and 1 less shield (make it a 2 hull 4 shield ship) and swap out the system slot for a crew slot. Still has 3 firepower, 1 agility, the cannon slot and 2x torpedoe slots. Adjust the dial (remove 1 hard turns, make 2 hard red, replace 2k with the 3k) and wollah a new B-wing that is worth 16 points and is scared of proton bombs and AHM.

As for the cannon I was thinking of a unique B-wing Prototype B6 only card for 10 points known as Super Laser Composite Beam Weapon. 3 Firepower Attack [Focus] Spend your focus token and discard this card to perform this attack. If this attack hits cancel all results and deal 5 face up damage cards to the defender.
So if this was a thing (hmmm... might make a new house rule kit.) in the meta it would be nothing more than a Palp Assassin. But again that is an 10 point upgrade to remove a 8 point upgrade. Well looking at ships. 26 points to remove 29 points okay I can see where that is a decent trade. But then again that 26 points has a few more weaknesses. It would be like the spy in stratego, sure it can kill the marshal but it dies to everything else.

Yeah I notice that FFG has greatly relaxed the 1 Pilot 1 Ship policy on ships. Now we are starting to see ships on multiple ships within the same faction.

She's one of the female leads of Star Wars Rebels. She's an Imperial Cadet from Mandalore turned Bounty Hunter turned Rebel Explosives expert and graffiti artist.

Although it's been commented on already earlier in the thread... I too am now going to refer to The Force Awakens, Rogue One, along with E8 and E9 (and anything else that they bring out ) as "that disney movie".

Any time someone talks about pilot abilities in different ships, I always have to go to my favorite: Lt. Blount in a Ghost. Gives you guaranteed 4 damage on any given target in range of TLT.
Worst post in the thread. Including all the ones from the OPRebels is significantly better than TFA, so
The villains (Kallus, Vader and now Thrawn, even the Inquisitors) are miles better than Supreme Leader Snoke and Kylo 'Temper Tantrum' Ren.
Even the Ghost crew is somewhat deeper, more human and less Mary Sue than Rey and Finn.

Rebels is significantly better than TFA, so I'd say FFG knows what they're doing.
You aren't even kidding - but then TFA is easily worse than even the prequels (well...okay, Episode II might actually be worse than TFA, but only that one...) so it's not really a high bar to cross.

I don't think Kallus will be a villain in Season 3. I believe he will take over the roll of Fulcrum in the new season, especially after the events of the Season 2 episode "The Honorable Ones" and the fact he wasn't seen at all in the Season 3 trailer.

I don't think Kallus will be a villain in Season 3. I believe he will take over the roll of Fulcrum in the new season, especially after the events of the Season 2 episode "The Honorable Ones" and the fact he wasn't seen at all in the Season 3 trailer.
