She is suppose to be an ace, hence why she was able to fly the B wing so well the first time. Also she doesn't have a lot of time behind the B either, she pointed it towards a cruiser and Sabine fired the cannon. A good pilot this does not make.
Is there any interest in a Rebels TV series A-wing expansion?
In one of the Season 3 preview clips Ezra pilots a two-seater A-wing, so that's another pilot and a mod/title.
As for the second ship for the expansion, I don't like the idea of adding a B-wing (one pilot, very brief apperance, BS beam of doom), but there is another option:
- Attack Shuttle, with a title or a mod giving it an astromech slot, Kanan, Chopper and I think Ahoska piloted it in the show;
OR we could wait and see what season 3 brings us, there are two potential candidates:
- new shuttle, seen in the trailer, attachable to the Ghost;
- Y-wings, I bet there will be some new (or old, Wedge, Tycho?) pilots.
Ahsoka could also get a pilot card of for the Ghost and a crew card, and Chopper's astromech slot version is long overdue.
You missed the Grand Admiral Thrawn crew card.
I still want my 16 point Orange B-wing prototype.
Just knock it down to 2 hull and 4 shields and replace the systems slot with a crew slot and call it good.
As for the cannon just make it a unique superlaser prototype cannonmake it a range 1 firepower 3 that cost 10 points and is a discard and spend focus token to use. If it hits cancel all results and deal 5 face up damage cards.

100% yes. You put Ahsoka in pretty much anything and I will buy it. You do that while putting Hera in a ship and giving her the EPT slot that WE ALL KNOW SHE SHOULD HAVE while flying the Ghost, and I'll buy it the instant it's available anywhere.
It would be a nice way to get proper Phoenix Squadron pilots into the game as well. Phoenix Squadron Pilot would be a great lowest-PS generic. Maybe include Phoenix Ace as a low-PS +EPT pilot.

...
Prototype B-6. I like the name. However I would drop it down to 2 hull as it was toed by an attack shuttle for hyperspace after all. So the whole craft does seem smaller than a full size B-wing. Also no need for the system slot as it has a crew slot instead. Maybe a system slot could be saved for a title, maybe a specific system upgrade gets added much like how the mist hunter adds a tractor beam with no cannon slot.
I would still make the cannon only range 1 and deal at least 4 face up damage (I think 5 is better). To be honest I think a 10 point palp killer on a 26-33 point ship would be good. Also discard the card to make the attack. After all they only had one shot at it because they didn't spend the extra point on munition failsafe. ![]()
Yeah that bugs me a lot. Why didn't FFG release a Aux arc A-Wing instead of Arc-170. Yeah I get it that the Arc has droid/crew. But A-Wing with AuxArc made more impact on the galatic war.

Those flip guns were on what, one A-wing?
BTW, we've already got everything we need for the Hera A-wing: we have the ability and we have the ship.

Would be nice to get a title or mod to boost the native attack to 3
Nope. You don't need it with 2 EpT slot. Not enough punch? Try Crack shot + Juke. Or Prockets. Every ship in the game doesn't have to have 3 attack; A-wing is efficient and useful as it is, and doesn't need more punch.
The A-Wing is quite healthy as it is, but not having Barrel Roll natively is something I thought to be an incredibly huge mistake. TBH, FFG should just errata that all A-Wings receive a free barrel roll icon on their action bar, regardless of upgrade cards taken.
Number one biggest mistake they made. Of course, having an aux arc but no barrel roll gives it that nice "Rebels have firepower and durability as opposed to The Empire's agility and speed."
I mean, just imagine! The options! At the time, the jouster would have 3 firepower forward-only, the slugger tanky one would have a whole sodding 360 arc but at the cost of firepower, and the A-Wing would be an agile double-threat that filled the role inbetween, but was much more fragile than the X-Wing!
Augh!
IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO PERFECT BUT IT WASN'T.
FFG I beg you, it's not too late to fix your mistake!
3 Awing releases? Pfft, we've seen like 10 TIE/in chassis releases
I rather wait and have that new Ep 8 a-wing, that could bring any new shenannigans the old a-wings could benefit from too.
Pretty sure we already have the prototype pilot in game already.
Be careful what you wish for. There's an A-wing 2.0 in episode 8 is coming too.
We'll be drowning in the things before long as is.
Yes, the A-Wing could become the Rebel TIE Fighter... oh wait, there already IS a Rebel TIE Fighter. H
Now the R-22 Spearhead, now THAT I could be down with...
Rebel tie fighter? haha what kind of stupid wishlisting is that... Oh wait...

Whatever next, Darth Vader in a Yt-1300?

I can't speak for everyone, but... I think the game has plenty of Rebels representation at this point. Let's look at other sources if we could. Heck, I'd be more interested in them making something from that Lego show... Except, not lego of course... Ok nevermind, bad idea. But still. Rebels has got plenty of representation.
That said, when looked at another way, Rebels is actually the largest single body of Star Wars work that fits the timeline the developers work with at nearly 20 hours and growing. Assuming they are now more limited to the "Disney canon," it's probably going to be a well they continue to tap since it is the widest source of material and consistently generates new content. The movies will not be able to keep up in the near future.

Honestly I was disappointed that they didn't say the A-wings in Rebels were R-22 Spearheads, since they're very obviously an earlier model than the A-wings in RotJ. At the very least, they should've called it something like an "RZ-0 A-wing", a pre-production model for the mass-produced RZ-1 A-wing that fought at Endor.

Well to be fair, Wookieepedia makes it sound like the RZ-1s we see in the show were stripped down to make the ships lighter and faster. The A-wings we see in ROTJ are not stock A-wings. The ones from Rebels seem to fit the description.
"A-wings were modified for use by the Alliance to favor raw speed over power or protection. The Alliance's modified A-wings consisted of a stock model stripped of its shields, armor, and heavy weapons. As a result, the ship was faster than the Empire's variant, the TIE Interceptor."
The stock A-wing sounds more like a normal attack starfighter than an interceptor which would mean a different dial and a different ship. No speed 5, no boost, more hull, more shields, and more attack.
Edited by MPGThe pivoting laser cannons are apparently canon now, from the Star Wars Databank:
With its sleek arrowhead shape, streamlined cockpit, and massive twin engines, the A-wing starfighter suggests raw speed even when parked within Alliance hangar bays. Faster than even the TIE interceptor, the A-wing is well suited for lightning strikes. It sports a pair of pivoting laser cannons on each wingtip. The starfighters of Green Squadron, which flew in the Battle of Endor, were made up of A-wing starfighters.
How about an A-wing prototype with a 2/3/2/1 stat line at 12 points, same dial, and a new 0-point Chardaan Refit that has a 3/3/2/3 stat line for the original point value? I think the former balances fine; the latter is probably a little too cheap.
I'd definitely like to see a rear arc or similar application of the pivoting cannons.
Note: the Wookiepedia article quoted in the post above cites the Databank as the source, but the databack entry is what I've quoted -- so I don't know what the source of the "stripped down A-wing" idea really is.
Well, with season 3 of Rebels revealing a Trainer A-wing piloted by Ezra, it could be a good time. Give us Phoenix Leader paint scheme (green), Hera, Ezra, Shara, Sabine, Pash, or others pilots, a Trainer title that removes missiles and gives a crew slot, and maybe a modification that adds thar rear arc (or unique pilot that has it) could be fun.
The trainer could be a generic card, lose a [upgrade] for a crew.

Check off the box for unique pilot for black text,
without that you'll get the grey generic text.
Then just select and slide a piece of the color over the black dot.
