Vader + ordnance expert

By Sharego, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Hi!

For example on a gladiator I, can I reroll 2 blanks for example first with ordnance and then reroll the same dice with Vader ?

Yes.

You need to use something different... (So you can't use Ordnance, then ordnance, to reroll)...

But Ordnacne then Vader, perfectly legal.

You are allowed to Reroll rerolls here :)

Thanks a lot!

Unlike in other games, Armada is perfectly happy to let you reroll as often as you can, so long as each reroll is from a different effect. This is because ship defenses are very significant, and static. Too much damage? Redirect to other shields, or halve the damage, or evade the critical effect. Or all three.

Between offense and defense, I believe the total number of reroll opportunities in a given attack is still hovering around 6 or 7 for both sides.

And we just got "Design Intent" that if you have something that lets you reroll in a bubble, then multiple stacks of those do allow you to go on...

For Example...

Have a TIE Bomber in the range of 2 Bomber Command Centers? Re-roll that one die Twice if you want....

Have an ISD sandwiched between two Targeting Scrambler Interdictors? That's Twice you can Reroll up to 4 dice.... Wether they're the same dice or not!

Unlike in other games, Armada is perfectly happy to let you reroll as often as you can, so long as each reroll is from a different effect.

My friends and I play both started playing X-wing, and then moved over to Armada (we do still play both, but more armada). Our joke early on was "Take all the rules you learned in X-wing and FORGET EVERTHING " because many of the mechanics are rather different, but in a very functional way.
