Knowledge skill missing from official character sheet?

By robus, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I'm transitioning my players from the beginner box character sheets to proper ones they can maintain. But the form-fillable sheets all seem to be missing the "Knowledge" skill (here: https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/StarWarsRPG/edge-of-the-empire/support/edge-of-the-empire-character-sheet.pdffor example).

Even this one is missing it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/smrm8i553zfd5fv/BastionKains_PrintFriendly_FFG_StarWars_Roleplay_Character_Sheet_01RE.pdf?dl=0

41-VEX has a skill rank in Knowledge and I can't easily transfer it?

What gives?

I thought Knowledge skills were a category, which both those sheets have.

Ah the Knowledge Skills! - D'oh :) So what would 41-VEX's single knowledge skill translate to then? I guess as he's a colonist it would be either Outer Rim or Xenology?

I'm not sure, having not seen the beginner box at all, maybe they simplified it and had just knowledge skill rather than a range for simplicity?

I'd recommend just picking something appropriate to the background.

Yeah, for all the Beginner Box pre-gens, they simplified the skill list, condensing the various Knowledge sub-skills into a singular Knowledge skill as well as combining Piloting (Planetary) and Piloting (Space) into just Piloting.

In which case, the standard baseline Knowledge skill is Knowledge (Education). That’s the fall-back if you don’t have any other more relevant Knowledge skill.

So, the basic Knowledge skill from the beginner set would most likely correspond to Knowledge (Education) under the CRB rules. That is, unless you had a better explanation for where that Knowledge skill should go.

The character seems to be a Colonist Doctor. The Knowledge (Education) is a career skill for the Career and Spec so if you're converting it to the full game, it's most likely that one.

All the beginner games have simplified rules that mean they have only one education skill listed.

Age of Rebellion has an additional skill of Education (Galactic Warfare) that isnt included in the other two sets

Force and Destiny has the lightsaber weapon skill that isnt listed I the other two sets

Finally the beginner game sets have a cut down version on s spec talent sheet, some of the characters have in built talents that are not listed, for example The Force & Destiny characters, all have an inbuilt talents linking lightsaber to their own key stat , and the force awakens set have the colonist and the explorer seem to have the well rounded talent, (perhaps to make up go the loss of a few Education career skills)
