Back on Topic, maybe the missing SKU has something to do with Rogue One. The Imperials are 1 ship behind the Rebels in overall ship count and we know Director Krennic is in charge of "Advanced Weapons Research" Maybe he has a bad ass prototype ship that FFG could slip in on force Friday!

No, they'd have done it already. The Resurgence class was one of the very first revealed TFA ships. There have been multiple opportunities to release it by now. Further, why would they release it along a film that won't show it off? Phoenix Home and the Imperial Arquitens and even the Defender and E-Wing are all vastly more likely to appear in Rogue One.

It has to be tied into something that players for both factions would desperately want to buy, and a Force Friday product had to be something that directly gets potential players to pick up the game

A new core set meets those goals. An SSD probably meets those goals. A new ship that can be used by both factions might meet those goals.

The Resurgence-class Star Destroyer does not.

Whatever is coming has to directly appeal to both factions.

I'm betting you they're waiting for the Rebels equiv of the Overbite-class SD to show up in Episode 8 before they release it.

You fools! It was my idea for the actual death star with an 18' surface area so you could play the game on the death star itself!

FFG's production delays were all due to working out how to build the electromagnet to suspend it above the gaming surface. The only bad news is that it weighs ~50 pounds. The good news is that if you win, you get to crush your opponents fleet by rolling the Death Star over it after the game.

It would only be used for that set up which would be pointless for FFG since they like to make most accessories as multi use as possible so that it sells more.

I'm pretty sure the R&D of FFG are trying really hard to give us the SSD. Is it the missing SKU number? Maybe. If not, I'm pretty sure it will pop-up some day.

All I know is that Thursday a big new Rogue 1 trailer is supposed to come out and Thursday/Friday Wave 3/4 is supposed to come out and we have a missing SKU.

I'm not going to say there is a possible secret ship in the works, but only because it could be a secret squadron pack.

Not sure how balanced that would be for a core box. Maybe if it was 2 Arquitens and a Gozanti maybe. Throw in some new upgrades etc. I could really get down with that and pay for it for like 70$

I wondered about a squadron pack too. But there's just not much to put in it other than pilot cards, most people I'm guessing already have all the stands they need of the fighters... Unless they are doing just a pack of TIE strikers and U-wing?

Come to think of it, other than a set piece and a battle scene, the Executor doesn't do alot in the movies. If they do put it in the game, I wonder what role that would indicate it having in R1? Now I'm kind of stumped. There's just so many good possibilities.
