With the limited knowledge we have, what do you think the U-Wing will look like?

First let me say I hate the look of the U-Wing. I think it is a bad mesh between an X-Wing and a Y-Wing. I don't like it when Hollywood does this, the Rebels tend to be a many different styles collected from where they could, while the Empire's TIEs are more evolutionary in design. (Not FFG's fault.)

However, I like the concept of a gunship, and it will be interesting to come into play.

So ...

The scale looks like it will be fit on a small base, but it really can go either way. (IG2000 vs the K-Wing).

I see it will fit somewhere between a HWK-290 and the Firespray dial wise. So not good, but not bad.

Stats wise I see 3/2/4/2

I see the price around 22-24 points for the lowest generic.

Loaded with crew cards! (In that mindset, I am willing to bet it will be a larger base?)

On the wild side I hope it comes with a double sided title that switches between the front primary arc, and 2 side primary arcs for an action. X-Wing lacks a good broadsides thus far, and I think it would be fun.

Anyways, your thoughts?

Think bigger.

A dual sided title, that changes the ships dial and role.

One side: wings forward, gun ship. attacks from the sides, slower dial.

Other side: wings back, fighter. Increase forward firepower, lose the side arcs, faster dial.

Choose your title at the start of the end phase.
