some educated guesses on Sabine's TIE:

Squinting at the Captured TIE Fighter modification, it seems to be tied to the condition card. It looks like the condition makes it so you can't be targeted [by lower PS ships?] until after you attack the first time?

Captain Rex crew looks like it triggers after you perform an attack that doesn't hit? Maybe deal an ion after missing (looks like he's firing on stun in the picture?)

EMP __ looks like you forgo attacking to discard the card and hand out ion tokens to each ship at range 1?

Does that quad jump only mod just assign tbeam tokens to enemies in arc

Article mentioned something about tbeams but it gets no cannon

If that's really what that mod does...quad jumper BEST SHIP

admittedly it makes sense for rebel to not have generics. They are low on man power, each pilot is known because they have few. Even the generic xwings tend to behave uniquely because of the astromech they got so might as well make the pilots unique from the get-go.

Not like you could spam arcs anyway at their price, though you could spam tie's

They're not jousting efficient (note ps 2 scimitar at one more hull and ps for only one more point) but yeah, we ain't jousting :)

From what I can tell

Each ship in this wave serves a strange and unique purpose

Rebel tie fighter:

A quick death ship. It's a suicide bomber meant to get in close to the enemy and do a lot of damage at once to either one or many ships.

Upsilon ship

Powerhouse that is meant to weaken ships that attack it for probable swarms

It isn't as cheap and useful as a shuttle nor as quick as a decimator but it's meant to lure rebels in and weaken them to swarms

Quad jumper: scum swarmer with a unique twist that allows scum to reverse throttle

Odd ships that while may not be powerhouses in the meta will probably shake it up

Kylo combos well with Vader

And if captured tie fighters conditional effect is actually that enemies can't target her for attacks until she attacks, I have a gut feeling contracted scouts may have to deal with a powerful suicide bomber dealing a lot of damage to them before they can to her

They're garbage Ito efficiency; the tie Bomber kicks their ass and even it loses to the academy tie

No, the quad is a scum ship through and through; you gotta be a sneaky bastard and fight dirty to come out ahead

Some sort of reverse move if the reference card is any indication, I'm guessing faster Segnors as well (though why it has the ref card when the maneuver was integrated into core rules idk).

Should at least have 1-turns if there's only the one reverse manuever at that speed.

Why isn't the Kylo's Shuttle title "The opposing player must choose a ship within range 1-2 of you, that ship is assigned one stress token?"

Although it's strangely appropriate to have Kylo Ren barking out commands and have those commands entirely ignored :P

So I just realized you can Proxy Sabine in her Tie Fighter right now . And really easily. Everyone has a Tie, and if you have the Ghost, you have her attack shuttle base as well. And, obviously, we have the dial as well. That's a first for a wave announcement.

So Kylo with Vader crew will be the Grandpashuttle?

And someday we may get to fly the Snokemobile?

Wow, so few generic pilots this upcoming wave. Only a PS2 generic on the shuttle and a PS1 generic on the Quadjumper, all the rest are unique pilots.
