True, but if the dial is better than the Lamda and more akin to the other big ships (say like a Decimator) then you've got a much more offensive ship rather than just a bus.

Ren might not have the best pilot ability in the game but it's pretty darn good. It's definitely better than the ability on the highest PS Lambda. He's in a ship that is the likely first target and punishes the first ship that attacks him each round.

The threat of having a high PS Ace dropped to PS0 might be enough to shift targetting priority though. Your opponent really wants Ren off the board but isn't will to risk attacking it first.
