Much like how FFG is releasing Poe's Xwing and Sabine's TIE, its a hot topic people are kitbashing as it is so theyre just capitalizing on it by making it official. There are plenty of scum kitbash epic ships out there, but since its for epic its not seen as much as the other two examples so it'll take longer for FFG to notice the trend.
